    Jolyon Palmer
Former Renault driver on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

I am more excited for this than the average race. It is a circuit where we have seen incidents in the dry. It could still be a one-stop race if the drivers can get through the intermediate period at the start.

But looks like some cars are starting on full wets.

  6. Full wets, but then they get chewed up...published at 13:56 British Summer Time 18 April 2021

    Jolyon Palmer
Former Renault driver on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

The wettest part is the first sector. That is where they are going to be coming in all bunched together. It looks like you need full wet tyres to get through there.

But if you put the wets on you will chew them up in sector two and three and will be done after two laps.

The brakes on fire issue is a problem for both the Aston Martins and the team are working frantically to fix the cars of both Stroll and Vettel.

Both men are absolutely fine and completely unhurt, but not ideal preparation 25 minutes before the race.

Will we even have 20 starters?
