Enda McGinley has already asked the question so I'll venture my top-of-the-head analysis that there is some serious thinking to be done within Ulster football managements after witnessing that today.

The Dubs ripped apart Tyrone's defensive blanket and Mayo will know full well that something close to a man-to-man approach, granted with a sweeper, will work better for them on 17 September.

We haven't heard Mickey Harte's analysis yet and we will bring it to you on the BBC Sport website as soon as we get in. His take will be interesting.

After that display, Dublin will be raging hot favourites to complete a three-in-a-row but Mayo won't mind that one bit.

People forget that they beat the Dubs in the 2012 All-Ireland semi-final and all the contests between the counties in recent years have been close.

Expect nothing different in three weeks.

That is Tyrone's heaviest All-Ireland semi-final defeat under Mickey Harte. That was surely as chastening an occasion as the Red Hands have have to endure since Harte's arrival in the job in the autumn of 2002.

Dublin have crushed Tyrone's All-Ireland dream. Quite simply they have outclassed the Red Hands.

Dublin waste yet another goal chance as Paul Flynn's shot is saved by Morgan although he gathers the ball out near the wing to stroke over another point.

Tyrone earn a penalty in injury-time but Peter Harte's shot is beaten away by Stephen Cluxton's strong right hand. It looked a dubious enough award by David Coldrick for a challenge on Colm Cavanagh.

O'Gara towers over another Tyrone point as Diarmuid Connolly is introduced for the final seconds amid huge cheers from the Hill.

Eoghan O'Gara palms in Dublin's second goal with three minutes left to put a more reflective look on the scoreboard after the Tyrone defence is ripped asunder once again.

Paul Flynn is making his case for inclusion against Mayo on 17 September as he pings over another long-range score. With no sign of a Tyrone goal coming, this game seems to be meandering to its inevitable conclusion. Dublin in cruise control.

Declan McClure fires over a superb towering point. Six in it after 63 minutes as the Dubs introduce Eoghan O'Gara.

But there is no sense of panic in the Dublin ranks and substitute Paul Flynn strokes over a trademark towering point from distance. That's something Dublin haven't been doing too much today as they have tended to work the ball in close to Tyrone's goals before applying the finish.

Colm Cavanagh floats over a point from distance and Niall Sludden quick tags on another. Only six in it now with 13 minutes of normal time left. A Tyrone goal and it could get interesting.

Dean Rock slots another Dublin free won by liveware O'Callaghan. Peter Harte replies in kind at the other end. Sean Cavanagh has just been replaced for Tyrone after what was expected to be his final Tyrone appearance. It's not been a great day for the Red Hand warrior but what a career he has had.

Jack McCaffrey has missed an absolute sitter of the goal chance with only Niall Morgan to beat after the Tyrone defence is easily breached once again. Dublin have become a little careless in the second half but there is still no sense that Tyrone are going to mount a late comeback.

That man McManamon wins another free which Dean Rock strokes over the bar. Eight between the sides again. At the other end, Peter Harte fires a wide with Sean Cavanagh complaining that the ball should have delivered into the square.

McManamon very nearly ended the game as a contest as he steps inside Rory Brennan before lashing against the crossbar. A lucky escape for Tyrone.

Dublin are giving the ball away more in the second half but Tyrone are not making good use of their increased possession. The Dubs are starting to bring on reinforcements as super sub Kevin McManamon comes on for Paddy Andrews.

After another deliberate build-up, Dublin work another score as Jack McCaffrey fires over. Niall Sludden quickly replies for Tyrone. Seven in it with 42 minutes played.

Paul Mannion hits Dublin's first point of the second half. Tyrone have a bit more fire in their bellies but still a long road back.
