"DeChambeau looks to all eyes the real deal. If a somewhat bizarre deal."
Langer -2 and on 17th green
Gossamer touch from the world's leading exponent of visors, and he'll have a 17-footer to move within two of Spieth and into outright second place. 12 years older than Jack Nicklaus when he thumbed his golden nose at history in 1986 and won at 46.
-1 after 15, tied for second
Wondering where Smylie Kaufman gets his handle from? His first name is actually Carter; the middle name which he bumps up the pecking order is a tribute to his grandmother's cousin, Smylie Gebhart, an All-American defensive end for Georgia Tech.
-5: Spieth (10)
-2: Langer (15), Matsuyama (11)
-1: Kaufman (14), D Johnson (14), Willett (12)
Par: McIlroy (10), Day (16)
-5 after 10
Spirth with a 15-footer to go six under - has he given that enough? Not enough mustard on that hotdog, as you were, lead remains at three.
Even par, five shots off lead
No, never looked like it, curling short and left. Rory takes off his blue cap and ruffles his curls in ruminative fashion.
Lee Westwood who is one over par after his round on 71: "The round felt very good, considering it was tougher than yesterday even. The front nine is tough, I think the back nine gives you scoring chances. 15, 16, 17 are all tough flags so will be interesting viewing later on.
"I have given myself a chance to win going into Sunday. Hopefully I won’t be too far off the lead we’ll have to see and anything can happen at Augusta."
Leads by three
Sweetest of approaches by the 22-year-old, leaves him with a 15-footer. McIlroy safely on the green but with a long putt for par.
McIlroy in trouble on the 10th, deep into the trees down the left. He'll take a second off the tee, but only as a precaution - he has a shot here, if only a squirty one from behind a pine and back onto the fairway.

"My goodness this is amazing from Langer - 58 years of age."
Langer (-2 after 15)
Uno, dos, tres! Bernhard is livin' la vida loca out there. Three birdies in a row for this old pro, the latest a confident roll into the middle of the 15th can. He's moved up to tied second!
Bernhard is almost 60. He played his first Masters in 1982 - that's 11 years before Jordan Spieth was born. Age? No barrier.

Steve Tooker: 5:45am in Japan and the commentators appears to be wildly excited about Matsuyama - not that I can understand what they're saying!

"The breeze is just dying a little bit, just a fraction."

"It is amazing Spieth is one under on that front nine, hitting it the way he has."
Spieth (-5 after 9), McIlroy (-1 after 9)
Spieth's putter is more accurate than an expensive sat nav system. He biffs it up the ninth slope...it can't...nope, it can't. Ball threatens to disappear down drain, but just holds out on the left lip. McIlroy lags his effort a little, but no drama to see here. Par for the Northern Irishman...two over at the turn.
