Re. Bobby (see 19:06) - that's homework sorted after the Easter holidays, Bobby.

Read 'The Renaissance of Tiger Woods'. Where the main protagonist suffers a fall from grace, almost quits the thing he loves, then fights back from injury and personal strife to reach the very top after a long absence.

Success, failure, jeopardy, suspense... and the fairytale finish?

Tiger Woods has to keep the nerves in check after hitting an incredible shot.

There is an incredible sense of warmth pouring out of the grandstand towards him as he marches towards the 17th green because everyone knows what he has been through in his career.

    What a story unfolding here.

  5. Xander shows champion formpublished at 19:07 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Schauffele -12 (18)

Up on 18, Xander Schauffele has had it tough on this hole and has a downhill putt - the same line made famous by Sandy Lyle - to save par.

He makes it. That's big guts in fairness. The 14-time major winner back on the 14th green is set to prove too good though.

Young Xander looks every bit a major winner in the next few years though. He's made up five shots in 11 holes.

Bobby: Many of my secondary school students won't have heard of Tiger Woods. But looks like there'll be a reason to talk about him after the Easter holidays.

Alex: I honestly never thought I'd see Tiger Woods win another major. I thought he would have retired by now with all the injuries and surgeries. What a win.

Francesco Molinari rediscovers his touch to find the 17th green in two, Tony Finau follows him there.

Now it is the turn of the star attraction. A clean swing, a smooth pitch and a slow, confident walk to the green for Tiger Woods. Glove off, he's asking for the putter...

Another birdie chance for the leader.

  8. 'Can it really be happening?'published at 19:03 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Peter Alliss
BBC Sport commentator at Augusta National

There is almost an air of disbelief here. Can Tiger Woods really be two shots ahead with two holes to play?

After all the drama, all the stories, all the tales, all the operations. Can it really be happening?

That gum is getting a hard time from Tiger's teeth.

Woods looks thoughtful as he waits for the group ahead to putt out on the 17th green. Don't start over-thinking it now, Tiger.

  10. Koepka misses chance...published at 19:02 British Summer Time 14 April 2019

    Koepka -12 (17)

A massive moment now on 17.

Brooks Koepka has 20ft or so for birdie and surely, two behind, it must go in.

Good pace, looks tidy, will it drop? No. A touch off line.

    Tiger.

    Inches.

    Closer.

Xander Schauffele goes to the 18th on 12 under and knows he probably needs a birdie.
