Now this is a nice touch. With the game all but gone Graham Shaw throws on sub goalkeeper Grace O'Flanagan. She is a doctor and also a cancer survivor. She spent six months out of the side in 2015 and 2016 to recover from a rare form of the illness.

She played a crucial part in Ireland's qualification for this tournament.

It's not that the Irish aren't playing well - it's that the Dutch aren't allowing them any opportunities.

Netherlands are in no mood to be generous today - they are ruthless - and it just shows the gulf in class between the sides.

Six of the best from the Netherlands. They're relentless. Another brilliant finish from the edge of the circle flies into the top corner. Ayeisha McFerran in the Ireland goal tries to get across but it goes in off the post.

This is getting tough for Ireland now. They're now looking a little ragged at the back. The Netherlands players know what they're doing. A clever drag back hits an Irish foot and it's another penalty corner...

Marloes Keetels adds a fifth, converting Maria Verschoor's cross. Keetels actually almost made a mess of it. She had an open goal and it wasn't the cleanest strike but dribbles over the line.

But we'll come out fighting in the second half - we weren't too bad on the ball - it's just been tough in defence.

"We'll do our best but it'll be a difficult second half, that's for sure."
