So what does Friday, the final day of the Festival, have in store for us? Well, there's the small matter of the Gold Cup. Can Bobs Worth record a fourth Festival success? We'll soon find out.

It's time for me to sign off now, so why not head over to the cricket live text and join Mark Mitchener for the final T20 international between England and West Indies. I'll be seeing you tomorrow. Night!

It's almost time for us to sign off and hand over the live text baton to our colleagues on the football and cricket desks. Before we do, here are some quotes from jockey Sam Twiston-Davies on Big Buck's' fifth-placed finish in the World Hurdle and subsequent retirement: "He's an amazing horse and it is a dream for me to have ridden him. As far as the race was concerned everything went as I would have liked, I was in the right place at the right time but obviously he is 11 now.

"Just when we turned in, he didn't have the legs. There were young legs against us.

"[Trainer] Mr Nicholls was happy when we came back - as happy as you can be with an 11-year-old coming back after a long absence. He is back safely and in one piece and that is the main thing."

Rishi Persad, who was on Tweleve Strings, was out of the places but managed to finish - which was a great achievement considering his saddle slipped halfway round.

Rishi Persad, who is riding Twelve Strings in the charity race at 17:15, on Racing UK: "I needed to eat a bit to get up to the weight. My nerves are almost uncontrollable, I can't wait to get on the horse.

"It's been nerve-wracking but the most important thing is I'm raising money for Cancer Research.

"I'm 40-years-old so why not do something?"

Here's a news line from our man in the field, Frank Keogh:

Owner Michael O'Leary says he is "very comfortable" with the prospect of Last Instalment running in Friday's Cheltenham Gold Cup - despite a drugs inquiry.

He said a decision on his participation hinges on the ground conditions and would be made on the day of the race.

Last Instalment passed a dope test earlier in March which was conducted after it emerged trainer Philip Fenton faces charges of possessing banned substances, including anabolic steroids.

"People are desperate to make a controversy out of nothing," Ryanair boss O'Leary told BBC Sport.
