"Tidal Bay is out Long Run took a heavy fall, Monbeg Dude is travelling with plenty of hope as they head to the Chair but Teaforthree is also out of the National, before Across the Bay was then taken out by a loose horse.
"Just one circuit yet and there is plenty of drama to come."
AP McCoy is travelling well on Double Seven too, but Shakalakaboomboom has been pulled up. Bad news for many, I suspect.
Rocky Creek, in the lead, and The Package are now among the frontrunners. Walkon is making ground too.
Oh no, the leader Across the Bay has been taken out by a loose horse.
Teaforthree falls at The Chair. That's the favourite out.
Tidal Bay is also a faller as we approach fence 13 with Across the Bay still in the lead. Mr Moonshine is in fourth, nicely positioned for a challenge.
Long Run has also fallen as Across the Bay leads by four lengths. Colbert Station is in second.
Twirling Magnet fell at the first, Burton Port at two and Big Shu at three, as Long Run and Across the Bay make an early bid at the front. Balthazar King is also travelling well.
The 40 runners and riders jostle for position at the start, the tape is lifted and the 2014 Grand National is off and running. Go well everyone.
Everyone get back to the start, we've had a false start. Cue boos from the Aintree stands.

"Long Run was getting really revved up on his way down to the post. Expect to see him at the head of affairs."
Hang on, Double Seven, with AP McCoy on board, is now back in to 11-1. Those odds really do fluctuate as late money is piled on.
It looks like Teaforthree will remain the 10-1 favourite when the horses go off. Long Run and Double Seven are 14-1 with Balthazar King 16-1 and a price of 18-1 available for both Big Shu and The Package. Got Kruzhlinin in the sweep? I'm afraid he's now the 175-1 rank outsider. But you never know, I suppose...

It's time for the national anthem. The rain might be coming down, but nothing can dampen the growing atmosphere and expectation enveloping Aintree racecourse.
