Ruby Walsh - who has been stood down today after a heavy fall in the RSA Chase - has injured the same leg that he broke at Punchestown in November.

He is off to hospital for a scan.

Jockey Nico de Boinville, who will be on favourite Altior in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, has been telling John Inverdale what it's feels like ahead of a big race: "We' re just looking forward to it. As jockeys it's were we want be to be riding horses like this on the biggest stage of all."

The Queen Mother Champion Chase is a little over 25 minutes away. Zara Tindall is in place for it.

And we are up and running. It is does not last long for Diamond King (pulled up) and Dusky Legend (fell) at the second flight.

Wiliam Henry is under plenty of weight, but can cart it.

Paul Nicholls, who has had a quiet season for one of the sport's power-broking trainers, saddles Topofthegame who landed a big handicap at Sandown last time out.

Max Dynamite's standing in the betting might have taken a dent with that news. He is neck and neck with Nicky Henderson prospect William Henry.

Ruby Walsh is helped off the course by father Ted and sister Katie. He is hobbling heavily.

There is a doctors' room at the back of the stand and that will be his first stop.
