Cue Card is pulled up. Applause breaks out from the main stand as the punters watch on the big screen. A sad sight.

Un De Sceaux stills leads, but Balko Des Flos is on his shoulder.

It's going to be fantastic to see Cue Card in action again today. He's running for the seventh time at Cheltenham. He's symbolised what jump racing is about for the last decade or so. He's a popular horse, winning 16 races in his career and taking home prize money of £1m.

In the dark blue corner... is Cue Card.

Ridden by Paddy Brennan, the 12-year-old veteran is second favourite behind Un De Sceaux.

In the sky blue corner... is Un De Sceaux.

The 10-year-old is bidding to retain the Ryanair Chase, one of the four wins for Ruby Walsh at the Festival last year.

The odds-on market leader has a tremendous record having won 20 of his 26 career starts and there is no suggestion his powers are on the wane after he claimed a historic third victory in the Clarence House Chase at Ascot in January.

Of course, he won't be saddled by the injured Walsh, with Paul Townend taking over the ride.

Winning trainer Gordon Elliott, speaking to ITV Sport: "It is a great day, the horses are flying. To win the first and second races is unbelievable. I'm lucky to have the staff and the horses I have.

We said Gordon Elliott had a chance of another winner with Glenloe - and he did. But it was another of his stable, Delta Work - a 6-1 shot, which gives it him.

There's a long pause as the stewards deliberate... the Cheltenham crowd holds its breath.

    "The winner is Delta Work."

Huge cheers from the course, but probably the loudest one comes from trainer Gordon Elliott. He's got another!

Oh my word. Who's got it? We don't know. It's a photo finish between Delta Work and Glenloe. It looked to me like Delta Work had nabbed it, but even the legendary AP McCoy says he doesn't dare call it....
