Pundits' picks
Andrew Thornton
Former jockey on BBC Radio 5 Live
Goshen (13:30)
Thorough stayer on the flat which is handy for a Triumph Hutdle. Strong traveller, has won his last six races by an aggregate of over 70 lengths.
Santini (15:30)
Progressing well. Won the Cotswold Chase here in January. Just had five runs over fences but has won twice over this course and will love the slow underfoot conditions. Looks Gold Cup material to me.
JCB Triumph Hurdle (13:30 GMT)
There could be a family connection in the day's opening race with jockey Jame Moore riding the well-fancied Goshen for his trainer father Gary.
Goshen was an impressive performer on the Flat and has looked good on his switch to hurdles.
Watch out too for Solo a recent recruit from France to the Paul Nicholls yard and a winner at Kempton last month.

A crowd of more than 60,000 is expected today despite the coronavirus pandemic.
While attendances have been down this week, it is expected the total number of spectators at the four-day meeting, which concludes on Friday, will still be close to 250,000.
Special hand sanitiser stations and extra toilet facilities have been laid on in an attempt to contain any spread of the virus.

And so this slightly surreal Cheltenham Festival comes to a conclusion today with the Gold Cup.
Only time will tell whether it was prudent for 250,000 racegoers to gather over four days in this corner of Gloucestershire during the coronavirus pandemic.
For those here, the focus is on the action and the year’s second biggest betting race behind the Grand National.
Pints are being sunk, bets placed and the atmosphere is building...
These are strange times we are living in with the impact of the coronavirus on the sporting schedule but at Cheltenham things are carrying on as normal today as the four day festival comes to a close with its showpiece race day.
The highlight of today's schedule is, of course, the Gold Cup, which gets under way at 15:30 GMT.
The race will see Al Boum Photo bid to become the first horse since Best Mate to defend the Gold Cup. The 2019 winner gave champion Irish trainer Willie Mullins his first triumph in the big race after six second places.
It's Gold Cup day!
