    The family connection is strong in this one. Japan won this race in 2019 and Mogul, his brother, is fancied to follow suit for Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore.

    Stable-mate Arthur's Kingdom has Frankie Detorri on board, while Papa Power was a winner at a lower level for Andrew Balding.

    Mark Johnston, who in 2019 added another record to his training tally - this time for the most British flat racing winners in a single year, has told BBC Radio 4's Today programme how he believes racing's precautions are above and beyond what is needed.

    "It's understandable, but if anything, the precautions are over the top," he said.

    "They have dotted every I and crossed every T. But if you think supermarket precautions are quite strict, and this is way beyond that. We're out in a big open space, built for 10’s of thousands of people with only a couple of hundred people there.

    "So the precautions are more than adequate. I think the risk of viral transmission is very, very low indeed."

    Johnston has recovered after contracting coronavirus in April.
