    Plate Handicap Chase (15:40)

The Shunter has a lot on his shoulders today. After winning the Morebattle Hurdle at Kelso earlier this month, victory here would see him land a £100,000 bonus.

But Emmet Mullins's charge, who also won the Greatwood Hurdle here in January faces some tough challengers.

Farclas, trained by Denise Foster, won the 2018 Triumph Hurdle and looks to have been focused on this race.

Others to watch include the Joseph O'Brien pair Fils D'Oudairies and A Wave At The Sea and the Nicky Henderson-trained Caribean Boy.

In case you've already forgotten, the horse which won the Final Handicap Hurdle was... Mrs Milner.

Former jump jockey on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Paisley Park ran a respectable race but I'm not sure he's as good as he was.

    The turbo wasn't there today.

  7. 'The winner just ran faster'published at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Paisley Park's trainer Emma Lavelle, speaking to ITV Racing: "He's ran a mighty race, he was flat out. The winner was out in front and just kept galloping.

"Paisley Park has run all the way up the hill, we're proud of him, but they were too quick for him to get a breather. That sharpness in the early part of the race might have been lacking.

"But he's in rude health, we're proud he is back. He ran a super race - the winner just ran faster."

So it wasn't meant to be for Paisley Park. But there is plenty for his connections to be proud of.

    Let's hear from his trainer...

I'm delighted for Danny who has never ridden a Festival winner. He's been beaten narrowly a few times - I beat him a few years ago here - but what a performance.

Gavin's horses have been a bit in and out this season but he was in today. My heart goes out to Jonathan Moore though.

Flooring Porter is a machine when he is in front and he is super and this is another great story for the sport. He did it in great style.

Wonderful scenes of celebration from Danny Mullins and Jonathan Moore.

Mullins standing up the saddle after crossing the line, fists clenched and ectasy/relief etched over his face, is a particularly lovely shot.

That's what it means: absolutely everything.

    Andrew Thornton
Former Gold Cup-winning jockey on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Flooring Porter has been in great form all season. He has his quirks, but Danny Mullins on him for the first time rode him well.

He didn't miss a beat all the way round and is a horse who is improving rapidly.

That was a spectacular success and a chance spare ride for Danny Mullins. Your heart has go out to Jonathan Moore.

But that was no fluke, although I was worried he had gone too quick.

  13. 'I just had to steer this horse'published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2021

Flooring Porter wins the Stayers' Hurdle

Winning jockey Danny Mullins, speaking to ITV Racing: "He is a proper good horse. But this is the man you need to speak to, he lost the ride this morning, gave me every bit of information about the horse. He's the man who did all the work. He's the man you need to congratulate.

"It is fantastic to win a grade one, I rode a very good horse today, i just had to steer this one. It is special."

Jonathan Moore on the win and why he couldn't ride: I'm delighted for the horse. I knew Leopardstown was no fluke. Danny gave him a brilliant ride. I'm so proud of the horse.

"I couldn't stand up in the saddle, it was too sore. I knew I wouldn't do the horse justice. I said to get Danny Mullins to ride him. I'm not surprised by the win.
