A comfortable win by five or six lengths in the end. I hope Liverpool footballer James Milner's wife lumped on.

We have 22 runners in the next race. Quite an open field, according to the experts.

Imperial Alcazar has been the ante-post favourite for this one as trainer Fergal O'Brien chases a first Festival winner.
He won well last time out on heavy ground, beating Come On Teddy, who he opposes again, but today's ground will be better than that.
Nicky Henderson has a good challenger in Champagne Platinum while Denise Foster's The Bosses Oscar, leads the Irish challenge.

All seems well with Envoi Allen who was safely led back in after that fall at the second fence.
Sent off the 4-9 favourite, he had been considered one of the week's Irish bankers, but anything can happen at Cheltenham.
Chantry House is a star in his own right and victory was a 70th Cheltenham Festival win for Lambourn trainer Nicky Henderson.
Thankfully there is some good news to report about Envoi Allen...
Envoi Allen falls in Marsh Novices' Chase
At the opposite end of the emotional rollercoaster to Envoi Allen, Jack Kennedy and connections are Chantry House, Nico de Boinville and Nicky Henderson.
And, of course... Paul Dean. He's the racing fan from Stockton who cashed out a £5 acca yesterday for £250,000.
Was there a camera on Paul watching the race? That would be pretty entertaining...

It has been a tough week for the British trainers so far but maybe this was the bit of luck they needed.
Nicky Henderson - what a trainer he is around here. His horses come to the fore on better ground and often struggle on softer ground. Maybe Chantry House could be aimed at Aintree now.

The slow trudge back down the track looks a painful one for Jack Kennedy. Head bowed, legs heavy, mind racing with reflection.
