  1. Goodbye!published at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

Well, I'm afraid that is everything from us today. And everything from Cheltenham in 2021. Sigh.

With so much controversy and criticism coming into an unusual Festival, many will have wondered how the week would pan out. It's safe to say the action on the track has been a success.

Rachael Blackmore is a bona fide star.

Henry De Bromhead is able to consistently challenge the big names.

And the Irish are still head and shoulders above the British.

Thanks for your company today and over the past few days. Shall we do it again next year? Of course. And hopefully thousands of us will be able to be there in the Cotswolds to witness it first hand...

  2. Blackmore on her 'incredible' weekpublished at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

Before we go, let's hear from the rider of the week. Rachael Blackmore has been on 5 Live Sports Extra...

"It's incredible. The book of rides I had coming in was very good. You are hoping one of your horses can win but to be riding for the likes of Willie Mullins and Henry de Bromhead is incredible.

"I'm still in the bubble of it, so I haven't had a chance to see the outside world but I'll do that over the next few days."

  3. Postpublished at 17:12 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

Instead it was Jack Kennedy who is the Gold Cup-winning jockey after leading Minella Indo to a famous victory.

No wonder the talented 21-year-old wanted to kiss him.

The pair have written their name in jump racing history.

Only two jockeys have ridden six winners at the Festival: Rachael Blackmore and Ruby Walsh.

Fittingly, Blackmore takes home the Ruby Walsh Trophy for finishing as the leading rider.

And a dream week could have been even more momentous had she taken a Gold Cup ride on Minella Ride instead of stablemate A Plus Tard, who finished just shy in second place.

  6. Galopin Des Champs wins the lastpublished at 17:06 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Charlie Poste
Former jump jockey on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

That was a copybook ride by Sean O'Keeffe for Willie Mullins. It was a big ride for him but he was full of confidence.

Langer Dan is a hold-up horse and Lorcan Williams got him in a great position but Galopin Des Champs was just too good.

Galopin Des Champs wins Martin Pipe Conditional

It wasn't necessarily the Willie Mullins horse we thought would win, but it came through to provide a dramatic finale for the Festival.

Mullins is the champion trainer at Cheltenham for the eighth time in the past 11 years.

Hard luck on Henry De Bromhead, although I'm sure it won't ruin his celebrations too much. Incredible week for him too.

Both finished with six victories, Mullins winning on countback thanks to seven second-place finishes.

I mean, it is a fitting finish to a dramatic Festival... Galopin Des Champs wins and ensures Willie Mullins finishes as the top trainer!

Stunning stuff. Langer Dan looked like he was going to steam past on the straight, before Galopin Des Champs responded in fine style.

Here we go then. Let's wrap up a surreal 2021 Festival with a bang...

Another clean beginning in a remarkably straightforward week for the starters, who are relieved I'm sure.

Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle (16:50)

After four days and 27 races - here we are at the final race of the 2021 Festival.

With 24 runners, it looks like a tricky one to call but as with so many races this week, the Irish challengers are to the fore.

Ex-French challenger Gentleman Du Mee is relatively unexposed but won at Naas on his Irish debut for Willie Mullins last month.

Stablemate Galopin Des Champs and Gabynako for Gavin Cromwell are also challengers but don't be surprised if a big-priced horse is in the frame.

  17. Can Mullins pip De Bromhead?published at 16:45 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

One more race left. I know, I know. Sad times. Let's all hold it together.

There is something riding on it... Willie Mullins could still swipe the leading trainer trophy from under the nose of Henry de Bromhead.

Mullins has 3-1 favourite Gentleman De Mee in the last.

"I thought Henry had it well sewn up so see what happens," he tells Racing TV.

"He has had an amazing meeting, as has Rachael, so congratulations to both of them."

  20. 'Colreevy had that bit extra'published at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 19 March 2021

    Andrew Thornton
Former Gold Cup-winning jockey on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

We've seen a good finish here but both jumped a smidgen right throughout.

Shattered Love never really got into the battle between the top two and Colreevy had that little bit extra.

That was a good Grand National preparation for Magic of Light and she'll be trying to go one better at Aintree in a couple of weeks.
