Willie Mullins has won the lot so far on Gold Cup day!
Another win for Willie Mullins!
And The Nice Guy powers away to the finish and takes victory!

It was all too much for Hillcrest - the pace and the rhythm. He has been found wanting I'm afraid.
It is Minella Cocooner versus The Nice Guy into the last...
Minella Cocooner and Broson are out in front two out. Ginto still in the mix.
A stumble and a scare for Minella Cocooner but is still into the lead with Stag Horn dropping away. Hillcrest is fading and looks like pulling up.

Hillcrest would have to be very good to win from where he is I think. I'm worried he doesn't have the pace.

This is a massively different test for Hillcrest. He has been pushed along a bit but he does keep back onto the bridle. He does have stamina in abundance though.
Classic Getaway has got ahead of Stag Horn while Ginto is around in midfield.
Nine to go and Stag Horn and Classic Getaway are still out in front. Hillcrest remains well back.
Hillcrest lurking towards the back as they jump the second.
Stag Horn and Classic Getaway head the field.
But this time they are away for the Novices' Hurdle!
A messy attempt to get away at the flag so the 16 runners turn and will go again.
Hillcrest is looking magnificent as he makes his way through the parade ring. A towering horse compared to some of those walking behind.
There's some non-runners in the 14:50:

14:50 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle
Three years ago, this race was won by Minella Indo and Rachael Blackmore at 50-1 for trainer Henry de Bromhead.
De Bromhead has high hopes for a repeat with Shantreusse, who will be ridden by Blackmore and who has shown plenty of improvement this season.
Hillcrest, for trainer Henry Daly and jockey Richard Patrick, is unbeaten in his completed hurdle races.
His only blip came when he unseated his rider at Cheltenham in January but recovered from that to win at Haydock.

Willie Mullins and Paul Townend are a special combination with enormous ammunition. It is certainly going to be a big flagging up to Al Boum Photo.
They are irrepressible, and while they do have exceptional ammunition, it is about making the most of the horses and this combination do it time and time again. They make so few mistakes.
Townend has obviously done his homework with the stand-side rail. He's made sure he's got that rail at any cost.
