That will relieve some of the pressure on Willie Mullins and Paul Townend at the start of the day.

Coming down to the last Mullins will have been worried about what happened in the first yesterday with Galopin Des Champs.

The second and third horses can have no complaints.

Well, well, well. What a race to start the day.

Vauban gave them a chance at the last because he was deep into the fence, but he was authoritative at the line. I loved the race riding with Paul Townend getting on the rail.

I have no idea what I said to the first half dozen people I saw yesterday. It is difficult because you're so concentrated on the job ahead. Then when it is over you can enjoy yourself a bit.

People have missed being a part of Cheltenham. The lovely thing about National Hunt racing is the longevity of horses coming back year in year out. People get to know them and their temperament and nature - that is fabulous.
