    Tyco BMW team boss Philip Neill says he is not sure when the meeting is going to restart and an imminent resumption doesn't appear in the offing.

    "We don't know much more than anybody else as Mervyn Whyte hasn't said anything to us yet but there is obviously going to be a significant delay," says Neill.

    Dean Harrison has just a slight limp as he makes his way back to the pits after the York Corner crash - the Yorkshireman may even be fit enough to take part in racing later today.

    "It's just one of things - I hit the kerb. I'll have to make sure I'm okay and hopefully I will be back racing."

    Guy Martin and North West 200 race director Mervyn Whyte are all smiles as they chat on the grid despite the Lincolnshire rider's paddock outburst on Thursday.

    Martin had expressed his exasperation with the chicanes on the course, adding that he had "no interest" in racing.

    However, a calmer Martin tells BBC Sport that he is "sorry for the way the comments came out".

    "You stuck a microphone in my face in the heat of the moment," jabs a smiling Martin at BBC Sport presenter Stephen Watson.

    "I don't like chicanes but I'm sorry for the way my words came out. As an event, the North West 200 is mega."
