Louise Shaw: @BBC_NI_Bikes folks could you give a massive shout out to all the NW200 marshals who volunteer their free time to keep everyone safe? Thanks.

Trevor Goldsworthy: Watching down in Cornwall, looking forward to a good day's racing. I'm supporting Forest Dunn from Falmouth, our local racer.

I bring you good news - the sun has reappeared, the riders are on the grid and we're good to go for the opening Superstock race.

I'm afraid the rain is back on and there will be a 10-15 minutes delay before the race action starts.

Irish dancers are providing the early entertainment, doing a wee jig in front of the main grandstand. It's quite blustery although the rain has stopped.

Alastair Seeley could make history today - sitting on 13 North West victories and two short of Robert Dunlop's record.

The 'Wee Wizard' from Carrickfergus starts from pole in five races so there's a good chance he can do it.

Good morning from the North West 200. There's a bit of rain about on the north coast but hopefully it's just a shower. The weather forecasters were telling us that it was going to be a dry day but now we're not so sure.

Racing begins with the Superstock event rescheduled from Thursday evening which is down to start at 10:30 BST.

The Supersport race follows and then the opening Superbike race over seven laps.

The Supertwins contenders will battle it out before the second Superstock race and the event will conclude with the Blue Riband North West 200 Superbike race. That's the plan anyway.
