Dean Harrison and Peter Hickman repeated their Senior TT duel from 2018 - but this time it was Harrison who took the top step.

Hickman looked set for a fourth win of the week but his bike hit trouble in the last two laps and Harrison took the trophy.

    Conor Cummins was third.

Dean Harrison's dad - and sidecar TT winner - Conrad Harrison: "It's briliant but I'm waiting for his brother to come through now! We've got the matching set now, we've won them all between us as a family now.

  7. 'That was hard work'published at 12:09 British Summer Time 7 June 2019

Second-placed Peter Hickman: "It is what it is, we've had a cracking week. The bike was awesome for the first four laps, we had a 19-second lead and we were cruising. The temperature suddenly went really high and I just knew. We've had a water issue and we can't work it out. It makes no sense.

"We have changed anything you can think of on that bike and in the last two laps it was chucking water out. I had to ride round at half throttle, it was hard work. They semed to take forever the last two laps, all credit to Dean, he's got the big bike win he was after.

"It's swings and roundabouts, I'm happy to get another podium."

  8. 'I can't believe it'published at 12:07 British Summer Time 7 June 2019

Senior TT winner Dean Harrison: "To finish first, first you must finish. I'm over the moon. I sat there and thought if I can just stay in touch behind Hicky anything can happen - I can't believe it.

"I lost my way a bit in midweek with the weather but yesterday got me back on track. It was a race win over six laps, two pit stops, that's hard work.

"Conditions were spot on. No damp patches. A massive thanks to all of the crowd, right around the course. They are what make it all so special."
