    Armagh v Monaghan (16:00 BST)

    Monaghan forward Conor McManus has been named to start in the county's Ulster Championship semi-final against Armagh on Saturday.

    The three-time All-Star was taken off during Monaghan's quarter-final win over Fermanagh with a leg injury.

    Alongside McManus, Monaghan have also selected Scotstown's Darren Hughes, who also came off injured against Fermanagh and was in a race to be fit for Saturday.

    Monaghan are aiming to reach their first final since 2015 but are expected to face a much more robust challenge against Armagh having eased to a 1-21 to 0-14 win over Fermanagh at Clones on 3 July.

    Armagh's preparations were hit on the eve of the contest with a player testing positive for Covid-19.

    The county have confirmed it as an "isolated case", with no other players affected.

    Regular goalkeeper Blaine Hughes is absent however Kieran McGeeney has named a strong team and the attacking prowess of Stefan Campbell and Oisin and Rian O'Neill should keep the Monaghan defence occupied throughout.

    There's one change from the programme with Ryan Kennedy replacing Ross Finn in the defensive set-up.

    Armagh v Monaghan (16:00 BST)

    An Ulster Championship semi-final is usually a special occasion and one for celebration, however this afternoon's encounter between Armagh and Monaghan takes place with a heartbreaking backdrop.

    Monaghan's Under-20 captain Brendan Og Duffy was killed in a car crash on Friday night, just hours after the 19-year-old helped his county beat Donegal in the U20 Ulster Championship semi-final.

    The senior Ulster semi-final between Armagh and Monaghan will go ahead as planned, and Brendan will be in everybody's thoughts at Pairc Esler this afternoon.
