    I mentioned Glastonbury earlier.

Well it's chucking rain at Croke Park now. The Derry fans don't care though. They're loving every minute of this.

It's been pretty miserable from a Clare perspective, though. Over 25 minutes gone and still no score from play.

    Derry 2-2 Clare 0-1

Conor Glass collides with a camera man behind the goal as he chased back covering a long ball.

There doesn't seem to be any harm done and both player and camera man are back at it.

    Derry 2-2 Clare 0-1

Podge Collins is through after breaking through a coupe of challenges.

He hits it hard and low but Odhran Lynch pulls off a really good save.

That was going in but the keeper stands firm, and to make things worse for Clare Keelan Sexton's resulting 45 is well wide.

    Derry 2-2 Clare 0-1

Paul Cassidy is through and looks like he is caught in two minds as he fists wide when he really should have nicked a point at the very least.

That was a big let off for Clare.

Clare pull one back through Eoin Cleary in the 16th minute. They'll need more of that if they are to fight their way back into this one.

Conor Glass is the next man to be booked for his part in the build-up to the free.

That goal was all about pace and Derry have pace in abundance. And what a finish from Conor. Clare are trying to play defensive football but it could be game over now after that second goal.

What a finish from Conor Glass, who was so impressive in the Ulster final.

Derry have picked up right where they left off from the Donegal game, full of energy and hard running into the Clare full-back line.

The Banner are in deep trouble already.

Conor Glass with a beauty! Unbelievable from Derry!

It's a quick one-two with Ethan Doherty and he puts on the afterburners to make some space and, like Heron, he lashes it into the Clare net!

Clare have really struggled with their kick-outs over the season and that is a massive blow for them. For an underdog to give away an opportunity like that is a big problem, when you are the underdog you need everything to go your way.

    Derry 1-1 Clare 0-0

Clare haven't really got going in the opening 10 minutes, and Derry could be more than four points clear if they had been more clinical from play.

A strong start for Rory Gallagher's men!

Well, the shooting's been a bit suspect so far, but Benny Heron was never going to miss that one.

The Ballinascreen forward's shot rifled past Tristan O'Callaghan and was met with a thunderous roar from the red and white surrounding the Clare goal.

Heron got two goals in the win over Monaghan - he only had to wait eight minutes to raise a green flag at headquarters.

So far, so good for the Ulster champs.

That was a nice one for Niall to settle himself and get himself into the game. Derry are into a strong wind and are creating plenty of chances, I'm sure they will start taking them soon.
