Well, it was patient until Brendan Rogers has another go from a long way out but he shanks it and it's well wide.

Off we go! Croke Park is buzzing!

Quote MessageThe size of the Croke Park pitch is a funny argument because it is not that much bigger than Clones. I just feel that over the park Derry have four or five more superior players and that is what will count. I don't think the pitch will come into it.

Rory Gallagher is ready. Are you?
Derry v Clare (15:45 BST)
Quote MessageI’m sure when the draw was made Clare would have picked Derry and vice versa. Derry are down here nearly expecting to win rather than in the past they were coming down here in hope.

Quote MessageThis is it. This is what you dream for. The Derry players have worked really hard for this and there has been huge anticipation within the county. It is a very winnable game for Derry, for me pound for pound they have the better players.

Derry boss Rory Gallagher utterly dismisses any notion that his team are now in 'bonus territory' after winning the county's first provincial title in 24 years.
"I don't believe for one minute that this is bonus territory. Last year I believed we should have beaten Donegal. I believed this year we were good enough to win Ulster. (But) It's never a given.
"We believe we're good enough to make an All-Ireland semi-final. We will be very disappointed if we don't produce the level of performance to do that.
"But that's up to ourselves and how we prepare and then we've got to bring the hunger and desire."

I'm not sure if any of the players chilled out by watching Glastonbury last night, but this is where the GAA's very own summer festival begins.
Eight teams, four games, two days.
And while the Glasto revellers must contend with the mud on Worthy Farm, our main stage is Croke Park's pristine surface.
Dublin and Cork, today's co-headliners, must wait until 18:00 BST to see if they can hit the right notes in front of what is expected to a crowd well north of 60,000, with Derry and Clare up first.
There's already been some disappointment for the Oak Leaf county today, of course, with the minors falling to a 2-9 to 1-11 defeat by Galway at Parnell Park in the All-Ireland semi-final.
But there is a sense of optimism surrounding the seniors' chances today. And rightly so. Having topped Ulster's 'Big Three' of Tyrone, Monaghan and Donegal to claim their first provincial triumph in 24 years, Rory Gallagher's side will be confident of beating Clare.
Simply put, it's a massive day for both counties. While Derry are bidding to reach the All-Ireland semi-finals for the first time since 2004, Clare have not been in the last four since 1992.
The noise for Billie Eilish's Pyramid Stage set last night was impressive, but the atmosphere inside Croke Park over the next 30 hours is likely to be just as hair-raising.
And it all starts here.

Derry manager Rory Gallagher says his side will beat Clare in Saturday's All-Ireland Football quarter-final if they produce their best form.
Gallagher says he has full respect for a Clare side he describes as "an established Division Two team".
After their impressive march through Ulster as they saw off All-Ireland champions Tyrone, Monaghan and then Donegal in the provincial decider, Derry are certain to be favourites heading into the Croke Park test but unlike many managers, Gallagher is happy to embrace that mantle.
"They have been very unfortunate to have been in Munster, drawing Kerry so often but we know what they about," said the Fermanagh man.
"We have to play well and if we play well, we'll win."
Derry v Clare (15:45 BST)
Clare have had to battle through the qualifiers to be one of the last eight teams standing.
They lost to Limerick in the Munster quarter-finals on penalties and that forced them to take the long way round.
Colm Collins' side edged past Meath in the first round of qualifiers and they powered past Roscommon to reach the main draw.

The two sides meet in the championship for the first time, but have already clashed once this year when Derry won a Division 2 tie by 2-13 to 0-10 in late February in Ennis.
A sign of things to come?

Rory Gallagher's men got straight into the All-Ireland quarter-finals by winning the Ulster Championship. No backdoors, no extra battles - it sounds simple, right?
In reality Derry have upset the odds time after time to be here.
Reigning All-Ireland champions Tyrone? Check. A strong Monaghan side? Check. Defeated Donegal in the Ulster decider? Check.
It's been some year for the Oak Leafers and they won't want it to end here.
