As we await extra time, it's maybe a chance to have a look back at the highlights from Kerry's comfortable win over Tyrone in the earlier quarter-final at Croke Park.

  9. Repeat scenario for Armaghpublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 1 July 2023

    Armagh 0-12 Monaghan 0-12

It's worth remembering that this is the second year in a row when Armagh have gone to extra time in an All-Ireland quarter final.

Last year, Kieran McGeeney's men ended up losing on penalties to Galway at this stage of the competition.

A cruel way for any team to lose, of course, and they'll be hoping to avoid that fate again this evening.

There's a load of unnecessary, silly pushing and shoving as the full-time whistle goes and a ridiculously tight game finishes all square.

    Armagh 0-12 Monaghan 0-12

Huge call from the ref as Monaghan's Sean Jones is shown a black card and will be off the pitch for the remainder of the game - in normal time at least.

    Armagh 0-12 Monaghan 0-12

    We're level YET AGAIN.

It was a long punt from Armagh's Aidan Forker and it looked like Aaron McKay who jumped with Rory Beggan and fisted the ball over the bar.

Goalkeeper Rory Beggan usually strikes the ball so cleanly but he was wide with a free there for Monaghan.

What way is this Ulster derby heading? So little between these two sides.

Michael Bannigan could well have been going for goal there.

He doesn't make it, but does notch a point to bring Monaghan level.

That's 11 times - and counting - that the sides have been level.

Monaghan keeper Rory Beggan makes good save from Conor Turbitt, staying big to get a block on his close-range effort from an angle.

Rory Grugan had a massive call to make there - and he played it safe and took his point.

Could he have gone for goal though rather than fisting over Rory Beggan and over the bar for a point that brings his side level?
