Darren McCurry is very, very lucky not to have been sent off there.

His frustration has clearly got the better of him as he punched Graham O'Sullivan in the stomach off the ball.

The ref clearly didn't see it, otherwise he would surely have sent him off.

Diarmuid O'Connor has now added another point to increase Kerry's lead to 11 points.

Darren McCurry slots his fourth point of the game, this one a free, but you get the feeling Tyrone can't wait for this match to be finsihed.

That's Kerry football at it's absolute breath-taking best. It's ruthless.

Stop. That.

Honestly, that was just pure genius from David Clifford to help set up Sean O'Shea for Kerry's second goal.

The ball was played down the line to him and, while facing the touchline, he controlled with his hand and kicked the ball over the shoulder inside to Tony Brosnan.

He passed further inside to O'Shea who gleefully finished past Morgan.

But that goal was all about the brilliance of David Clifford.

Tyrone at least showing some sort of fight as Matthew Donnelly grabs another point for them.

They couldn't, could they?

Sub Cathal McShane shows his class with a good run and point but David Clifford slots a point at the other end for Kerry to restore their nine-point lead.

Darren McCurry gets a free for Tyrone but you have to think it's all too late for them at this stage.

This is turning into a gentle dander into the semi-finals for Kerry.

Tyrone have not scored from open play at Croke Park since the 20th minute of this match, and have not scored at all since the break.

Their Championship season is in danger of petering out quietly.

Kerry's physicality is hugely impressive. That's a mindset, that's a team that are up for it. Obviously they're well coached and well drilled but they're doing it, they're going out with intent and they're putting their bodies on the line.

It's unbelievably impressive.

That was a lovely drop of the shoulder from Kerry's Paul Geaney to create space for himself.

He took a shot for goal on - maybe ambitiously - but Niall Morgan was equal to it and saved.

Then Sean O'Shea gets a point from a free to make it an eight-point lead for the holders.

Tyrone go looking for a goal at one end but Kerry break quickly and hit the post.

They do get their point a few seconds later, though, as Sean O'Shea grabs his third of the game.

Seven points in it. Tyrone need something - and quickly.

Adrian Spillane absolutely hammers over a point from close range as Kerry stretch their lead to six points.

Could he have gone for goal? It did open up for him but he opted for the point.

Diarmuid O'Connor gets back to put an excellent tackle in on Brian Kennedy.

That really was superb defensive play from O'Connor.

Another easy one for Sean O'Shea stretches Kerry's lead to five points.

Tyrone haven't come out for the second half yet.

Kerry have wasted no time at the start of this second half as David Clifford slots over a free within seconds of the restart.

He had actually put the ball in the next but the whistle had already gone for a foul.

We need to see a bit more dash from Tyrone, a bit more speed going forward. At the moment they're very one-dimensional. We need to see a bit more from them.

The Monaghan and Armagh players are out having a look at the Croke Park pitch ahead of their quarter-final, which follows this one of course.

What's really impressed me is how Kerry are defending the one-on-one battles. Kerry have been excellent today. They'll be pleased with that three-point buffer going into half-time.

There's a load of silly and unnecessary pushing and shoving from the players as they leave the pitch at the end of the first half.

Three points in a row at the of the first period gives Kerry a 0-9 to 0-6 lead at the break.
