Conor Doherty already has one in this second half but his latest effort curls wide.
Kerry kick it into the full-forward line but the Derry defence clean up well with Odhran Lynch - unsurprisingly - off his line.

Not this time for Rogers.

Doherty has done unbelievable!
A great score and that's what Derry needed to settle the ship.

Mickey Harte
Louth manager & ex-Tyrone boss on BBC Sport
We knew that Derry are a very fit team. They've been building this up over the last couple of years, even before that coming up the leagues.
Their fitness is not an issue here they'll go for this in the second half the same way and I think Kerry will be concerned that this is not a side that will run out of juice and this is a side that will be there to the end.
If Derry can keep up this intensity, which I believe they can, we're going to see a real battle here to the end.

Mickey Harte and Maurice Deegan are in agreement that Kerry keeper Shane Ryan fouled Shane McGuigan before running through to score.
Interesting half-time debate between the pundits.

Remember, Derry's challenge really fell apart in last year's semi-final against Galway.
They were admittedly undone by the brilliant Damien Comer, but they left the field that day bitterly disappointed.
The first 10 minutes of the second half today are going to be huge.

Do you think David Clifford deserved the yellow card he got for this challenge on Shane McGuigan?
Have a watch below.

Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport
We wondered would Derry players outside of Shane McGuigan contribute. We have had Odhran Lynch contributing, Paul Cassidy with two and Ciaran McFaul with one but the other Kerry players outside of David Clifford have not been seen in that first half – they have been totally reliant on Clifford. Some of Kerry's decision-making and shot selection could have been better. Derry's support cast is just playing a lot better than Kerry's.

Can Derry keep this up?
They've really attacked Kerry and it's been great to see.
Brendan Rogers, in particular, has been exceptional.
Only two of Kerry's six forwards have scored...
