  1. Naomh Conaill, Scotstown and Glen into semi-finalspublished at 18:16 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2023

FT: Gowna 1-10 Naomh Conaill 2-8

I'm still trying to catch breath after that conclusion at Breffni Park.

We couldn't have imagined that anything could have topped the drama at Pairc Esler after Rory Beggan's injury-time winner for Scotstown against 2022 All-Ireland champions Kilcoo but Kevin McGettigan did just that as he netted Naomh Conaill's last-kick winning goal against a shell-shocked Gowna.

After all that excitement, we could be forgiven for almost forgetting that Ulster holders Glen defeated 14-man Cargin to set up a semi-final with Naomh Conaill in two weeks.

Scotstown will meet Saturday night's winners Trillick in the other last-four clash.

If those games have half as much drama as today's action, we will scarcely be able to complain.

Thanks for staying with us today. If you fancy a bit more, take a look at our round-up of today's games, but in the meantime, enjoy the remainder of your weekend.

FT: Gowna 1-10 Naomh Conaill 2-8

Incredibly Naomh Conaill have snatched victory with the final kick of the game as Kevin McGettigan hammers the ball through a sea of bodies after Anthony Thompson lobbed a ball into the Gowna square. Gowna's players were massed near their own goalline but Conor Casey was only able to divert the ball to McGettigan who somehow found a route to goal with his low shot as the net bulged. Kevin Faloon blew the final whistle as soon as Ronan Bannon took his kickout as despairing Gowna players dropped to the turf.

John O'Malley levels from a free in the 56th minute after Gowna's Seanie Hartin is booked for a blatant foul as Naomh Conaill looked to have numbers in attack. Maybe this is the game that is going to go to extra-time after all the earlier drama in Newry.

    Gowna 1-5 Naomh Conaill 1-5

Conor Brady palms in a levelling goal for Gowna on 44 minutes after brilliant work by Tiaran Madden and Seanie Hartin. Madden made the initial burst, found Hartin, who squared for Brady to score. A fired-up Brady pushes over Leo McLoone as he celebrates his goal and picks up a booking as a result from referee Kevin Faloon. Suddenly the Donegal champions are the team looking rattled.

  11. 'We know we need to improve'published at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2023

    FT: Glen 0-11 Cargin 0-7

Malachy O'Rourke speaking to BBC Sport NI: "Cargin are a physically strong team, they make things hard for you, but we made things hard for ourselves today too, so we are delighted to get through.

"There were a number of things we could have done better, our conversion rate wasn't good, but we came here to get to the last four and we achieved that. We know we will have to improve next time, we played well in patches, but we haven't been playing as well as we can."

    Gowna 0-5 Naomh Conaill 1-5

Oisin Pierson has a great chance to further cut into Naomh Conaill's lead but pulls his shot wide and Conor Casey has another bad miss for the Cavan champions. That's three poor wides for Gowna in the opening 10 minutes of the second half.

    Gowna 0-5 Naomh Conaill 1-5

Cian Madden has notched his first score from a free after a couple of first-half misses. It looked a soft enough decision with Ryan Donohue appearing to have over-carried and run out of road but Gowna won't complain. A kick of the ball between the sides now.

  15. 'We can't fault the last eight minutes'published at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2023

    FT: Kilcoo 1-8 Scotstown 0-12

Let's get some reaction from Scotstown after that thriller at Pairc Esler...

Darren Hughes, speaking to BBC Sport NI: "Being three down with five to play, you felt like it might not have been out day. But we kicked two and got it back down to one, we kept chipping away and got them boxed in at kick outs.

"They are probably not under that much pressure too often. In the tight games they've played in the last year, they probably didn't come out the right side of it. They have been coasting through Down and had a handy game last week. We were disappointed with the firs 55 minutes but we can't fault the last eight.

"Three down with five minutes to go, did I expect us to come out on the right side of it considering the opposition? Probably not. Credit to the boys, they kept chipping away and the big man Rory [Beggan] stood up in the end."

HT: Gowna 0-4 Naomh Conaill 1-5

It will be no surprise if that goal moments ago proves to be the key moment in this match. You have to feel for Gowna keeper Bannon after his mistake. We've reached half-time and Gowna have somehow got to regain their composure after that horrible moment for them. Naomh Conaill look in a very strong position now.

  18. GOALpublished at 17:04 Greenwich Mean Time 12 November 2023

    Gowna 0-4 Naomh Conaill 1-5

Leo McLoone has just lobbed in a Naomh Conaill goal after a mistake by Gowna keeper Ronan Bannon who dropped a long ball and in his attempts to clear, only lofts possession into the Glenties man's hands. It was still a sensational finish by McLoone. Suddenly the game is double scores. It's seconds before half-time.
