Both teams are out warming up and the stand is starting to fill up, though the attendance is expected to be modest for this opening round fixture.
It might be round one, but this already has the feel of a relegation battle about it. Whoever loses, will be under immediate pressure to retain Division One status.
FT: Wicklow 0-13 Down 0-18
Down have begun their bid for promotion with a five-point win away to Wicklow, in a game where Pat Havern and Daniel Guinness were in fine form.
Although Conor Laverty's men were strong favourites going into the game, it was still up for grabs at half-time, as they led by just three.
However, Down came flying out of the traps in the second half and a 0-7 to 0-2 run essentially put the game to bed, despite a late flurry of scores from the hosts.
Down's victory makes it now seven wins and one draw out of eight games played for the Ulster teams so far this weekend.
Can Tyrone continue the unbeaten streak? Stay tuned to find out, as that game throws in shortly.

It's a whole new world for Tyrone who have six players making their first league starts today - Conall Devlin, Aidan Clarke, Tarlach Quinn, Ben Cullen, Seanie O'Donnell and Ciaran Daly.
With some familiar faces leaving since last season and Mattie Donnelly injured as well as being Darren McCurry suspended, it is a new-look Red Hands side that will take to the turf in a blustery Healy Park.
Roscommon have one league debutante, full-back Evan Flynn. They make one late change to the starting 15 with Daire Cregg replacing Declan Kenny at wing-forward. Star man Enda Smith is suspended and they are without their St Brigid's players who lost the All-Ireland club SFC final to Derry kingpins Glen a week ago.

Life back in Division Two starts with an emphatic win for Jim McGuinness' Donegal.

It's a vital two points against a side expected to be one of their promotions rivals even though it is only the opening weekend of the competition.

That should be that for Donegal.
