Good evening and welcome to our coverage of tonight's Allianz National League fixtures.

After an encouraging opening draw in Meath, Fermanagh fans who can't make it to Brewster Park this evening will be able to judge for themselves the Ernemen's progress by watching the contest against enigmatic Kildare on the BBC iPlayer or BBC Sport website.

While Fermanagh were the only Ulster county that didn't emerge victorious on week one, it was still a promising beginning for a squad minus the likes of Sean Quigley and the Jones brothers Ryan and Conall as they led for most of the contest before the Royals hit three late points to snatch a 0-12 to 1-9 draw.

Sean Cassidy stepped up to take the scoring responsibility for Kieran Donnelly's side by notching 1-2 at Pairc Tailteann with Ultan Kelm again demonstrating his pedigree with another all-action display.

Kildare produced a flat display in their opener in the current home venue of Dr Cullen Park in Carlow as they well beaten 0-16 to 0-12 by Cavan.

On their day, Glenn Ryan's side can be a match for the best, which they showed twice last year against Dublin as they lost by a point in their Division Two opener and led Dessie Farrell's side for most of the Leinster semi-final before the Dubs rallied to edge a 0-14 to 0-12 victory.

But when Kildare are bad, they are woeful as they showed in home hammerings by Cork and Derry which left them needing to beat Limerick and Meath in the final two rounds to preserve their Division Two status.
