    Orla Bannon in Healy Park

Even allowing for the game being live on TV, this is a poor attendance for a top flight game involving two counties who contested the All-Ireland final less than three years ago.

Morale is low amongst Tyrone fans, who have mostly decided to stay away, possibly fearing another defeat is on the cards.

The good news is it's not raining, it's not cold, and there's no wind so a perfect night for football.

  12. Late team changespublished at 17:12 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    Tyrone v Mayo 17:15 GMT

Make no mistake, Tyrone are under pressure after back-to-back league defeats by Derry and Galway and now have been forced into a late change with the 'Dazzler' Darren McCurry unable to start.

Galbally's Cormac Donnelly comes into the team for his first league start. Joe Oguz also starts in the only other change from last week's one-point loss to Galway. He comes into a forward line that is struggling for scores; only managing 0-9 against Derry and 0-12 against Galway in their last two games.

Lorcan McGarrity and midfielder Aodhan Donaghy drop to the bench and a few reshuffles in personnel sees Peter Harte move from centre half-back to centre half-forward, and Conn Kilpatrick from the half-forward line to midfield.

League champions Mayo put a lot of effort into their game away to Kerry last week and were unlucky not to leave with a point, with David Clifford hitting a majestic late point for the Kingdom.

Kevin McStay has made four late changes with Cillian O'Connor, Matthew Ruane, Conor McStay and Michael Plunkett late additions to the starting fifteen.

Ryan O'Donoghue, Mayo's top scorer in the league, drops to the bench.

Goalkeeper Rob Hennelly starts his first game in almost a year and the team is also strengthened by the inclusion of Stephen Coen and Enda Hession in the half-back line, while Diarmuid Duffy gets a start at right half-forward.

    Tyrone: N Morgan; C Devlin, P Hampsey, A Clarke; M McKernan, C Quinn, N Devlin; B Kennedy, C Kilpatrick; C Daly, P Harte, J Oguz; C Donnelly, D Canavan, S O'Donnell

    Mayo: R Hennelly; J Coyne, R Brickenden, S Callinan; M Plunkett, S Coen, E Hession; D O'Connor, M Ruane; D Duffy, F Boland, J Flynn; C O'Connor, T Conroy, C McStay

  13. Armagh man Jarlath Burns assumes GAA presidency that always seemed his destinypublished at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

Jarlath Burns will assume a GAA presidency in Newry on Saturday that looked his destiny from his inter-county playing days with Armagh.

The Silverbridge man's intelligence was obvious from the first conversation you had with him and his ability to articulate his point of view made him a go-to man when journalists were seeking stories on the largely underachieving Armagh footballers during the early and mid-1990s.

On the field, Burns soldiered on in the Orange jersey for 13 seasons until his moment in the sun finally arrived in 1999 at Clones when he captained his beloved county to a first Ulster Football title in 17 years.

His decision a few months later to retire from inter-county football at the age of 31 not long after an admittedly disappointing All-Ireland semi-final defeat by Meath surprised many as he appeared to have plenty left to give.

    Tyrone v Mayo (17:15 GMT)

Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of Saturday's Allianz Football League action.

We have two games involving Ulster counties to look forward to, as in Division One Tyrone host reigning League champions Mayo at Healy Park at 17:15 GMT, whilst in Division Three, Down welcome Offaly to Pairc Esler at 18:00 GMT.

It is a must-win game for Tyrone on home soil, following back-to-back league defeats by Derry and Galway.

They face a Mayo side which began the campaign with impressive wins over Galway and Dublin before being edged out by Kerry last weekend.

Division Three leaders Down will be expected to continue their winning run against an Offaly side still searching for a first league point of the season.

    Thanks for joining us, enjoy!
