Good night, good morning, whatever it is where you are, that's us signing off for the end of day one.
See you all on Sunday!
No sign of GB yet...
Brazil 5-1 Sweden
An emphatic win for the hosts.
Venus out?
US tennis coach Mary Joe Fernandez reveals that Venus Williams may be struggling to play on in the Olympics because of illness.
"She's not feeling well. She's been ill for quite a few days. Two days prior to coming here she was really sick with a bad virus. You could probably see she was coughing up a lot. She did everything possible to try and win this match. She got dehydrated. She's cramping a bit and is getting sick to her stomach.
"Now it's just a question of trying to recover and see if she can hydrate and feel better for tomorrow. I'd be highly surprised if she didn't play because this has been her goal for the last four years to come back to her fifth Olympics. She wants to win a medal so badly in anything. Knowing Venus she will be out there no matter how bad she is feeling."
Adam Peaty is a man on a mission. A mission to win gold.
Repeat today's semi-final win in Sunday's final and it's mission accomplished.
Brazil 5-1 Sweden
Utter silence as Sweden grab a consolation. Clinically put away by Lotta Schelin - who has the look of Jill Scott about her - as she beats the offside trap to bury left-footed.
That's goals in three Olympics for her though.
Brazil 5-0 Sweden
Five! Beatriz rolls her defender on the edge of the area and just clips in a left-footed curler. Delightful.
GB swimmer Adam Peaty, who won his 100m breaststroke semi-final, told BBC One: "It didn't really feel like an Olympic semi-final. I feel like there's more in the tank but I want to save myself for that and hopefully cash out tomorrow.
"It is great. It is tough Ross Murdoch didn't make it through because it would have been great to have two GB boys through but I will do my best and show what I am all about.
"It is tough coming from the heats with a WR and replicating that tonight so I'll rest ahead of tomorrow."
Brazil 4-0 Sweden
Brazil's women are not having any problems tonight, they are 4-0 up against Sweden with just six minutes to go. The unstoppable Marta has a brace.
Katinka Hosszu finally claimed her first Olympic medal - and set a world record for good measure.
All hail the Hungarian.
Five-time Olympic swimmer Mark Foster: On the first day you see some that have not travelled well but you can see the Australians have brought their A-game.
'More than a feeling' by Boston plays out as the pool empties into the Rio night. It's gone half 11 in Brazil, a late finish but a standard one for the duration of these Games.
Women's 4x100m relay
There it is! 3:30.65 for Australia as Cate Campbell anchors it home with a 51.97 leg.
United States have silver and Canada have bronze.
Women's 4x100m relay
It's going to be Australia. And it's going to be a world record...

Women's 4x100m relay
We are inside world record pace. The United States still ahead, Australia in their wake. Menacing.
Women's 400m individual medley
Hannah Miley just missed out on a medal in the medley. By a finger-tip. And her history of near misses in Olympic Games continues.
Here's her reaction.
Women's 4x100m relay
We're away! The USA know they need to break Australia early if they are to stand any chance and Simone Manuel has gone out flying.
She hands over in first, Australia five hundredths of a second back...
Former 100m breaststroke champion Adrian Moorhouse, speaking on BBC One: "It was a great swim, it wasn't perfection but I am impressed. I am a huge fan of Adam Peaty."
