Women's 100m butterfly
Next up it's the semi-finals of the women's 100m fly.
Here's the first semi. Two swimmers for hosts Brazil in action. This will be LOUD:

3 Jeanette Ottesen Denmark
4 Dana Vollmer United States
5 Kelsi Worrell United States
6 Rikako Ikee Japan

Flipkens 3-6 6-4 7-6 (7-5) V Williams
If Venus Williams is going to become the first female tennis player to win a medal at a fourth Olympic Games then it isn't going to be in the singles.
She is out. Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens collapses to the green acrylic in celebration as fifth seed Venus hammers a forehand long on match point.
A teary Flipkens laps up the adoration, knocking balls into the crowd and bowing to each side of the court. She doesn't want to leave...
Venus will be back in this Games though. Alongside sister Serena, she is looking to defend the doubles title.
Best Brit
Superb from Max Litchfield, that's the best finish by a British swimmer in this event of all time.
Men's 400m IM
It is gold for Japan as Kosuke Hagino holds on to pip Chase Kalisz of America, Daiya Seto in third and Max Litchfield of GB a brilliant fourth.
Men's 400m IM

That's some win. Team GB finished fifth of sixth in the recent Champions Trophy but if there's a way to show it was a mere blip, this was it.
One of the two sides ranked above them in the group are swept aside. A gallant effort, full of fight and spirit.
They hung in during a testing opening, fielded cries of "BREXIT" from Australia fans and Crista Cullen will have a heck of a bruise tomorrow after blocking a penalty corner. Worth it?
There are some beaming smiles here and why not?

Men's 400m IM
Max Litchfield swam a lifetime's best to qualify for this final. Can he sneak into the medals? It would be some achievement, we expect gold for Japan or the US...
Hockey
BBC Radio 5 Live
Former Great Britain hockey player David Faulkner: "For me, Great Britain took the Australian game to the Australians - they pressed high and for a long time.
"The top seeds have both lost today so that really does shake things up for GB."

Double Olympic gold-medal winning swimmer on BBC One
Adam Peaty had a bit of a point to prove and as the heats were going on we we were saying we were not worried about him at all. He has looked so strong.

Sticky old Rio night in the Olympic Aquatics Centre, that 50 metre by 10 lane slab of cool water down below us looking increasingly inviting as this warm evening hangs on to the day's heat. Adam Peaty due to dive in again legally in a few hours, having smashed his own world record in this morning's heats; to put his time of 57.55 seconds into perspective, you try swimming half his 100m distance in that time and see how you get on.
The line up
1 Travis Mahoney Australia
2 Max Litchfield Great Britain
3 Kosuke Hagino Japan
4 Chase Kalisz United States
5 Daiya Seto Japan
6 Jay Litherland United States
7 Thomas Fraser-Holmes Australia
8 Joan Lluís Pons Spain
GB 2-1 Australia
A superb start to the hockey tournament for Great Britain's women. A fine 2-1 win against a strong Australia side.
It's a party in the pool, and we're all invited.
Don't forget that you can watch the swimming at the top of the page.
Gymnastics
Louis Smith is understandably chuffed after a strong start to the Olympics as GB's men reached Monday's final.
