On my way for lunch I meet the family of New Zealand rugby sevens playmaker Tyla Nathan-Wong. Their t-shirts are attracting attention but they face a nervous wait before the final as their girl must have a concussion test having suffered an elbow to the head.
Dad Russell says he is "nervous" but "immensely proud". Her younger sister says they are "waiting for that thumbs up and then they'll be happy."
New Zealand and Australia meet for gold at 23:00 BST.

The Russian pair have had a bit of a mare and look to be drifting out of medal contention with a 67.71.
The Germans though, needing a big dive to get back in the mix, nail it with a 92.88. That makes things interesting in the race for silver and bronze.
Men's team final
Better than expected after one rotation of six for Great Britain. Things will move about over the course of this final but they currently sit fourth with the rings - their weakest apparatus - out of the way.
The surprise so far is the USA. They were the highest qualifier but are down in eighth after an error-strewn display on the floor.

"Ooooh! It was much better from the British boys in training the other day. There was just a bit of splash coming up from both Daley and Goodfellow. Maybe Dan piking a bit too soon.
"They are still in medal contention though."

"This is spot on from the Chinese. They are going to catapult themselves even further into the lead."

Inward three and a half somersault with tuck from Daley and Goodfellow. The splash is not as tiny as you'd like - they get 79.68 and remain third on 181.08, about 10 points behind USA halfway through the competition,
Meanwhile, the world champion Chinese pair look a world apart, miming each other's dives perfectly.
Women's 58kg
Thailand’s Sukanya Srisurat has broken the Olympic record for the Women’s 58kg category. She lifted 110kg in her third attempt at the snatch in group A. It broke the previous record, set by China’s Li Xueying at London 2012, by 2kg.
This is Sukanya’s Olympics debut and it comes three years after she completed a two-year ban from the International Weightlifting Federation after testing positive for the banned substance methandienone.
GB's Daley and Goodfellow start off strong
Tom Daley and Dan Goodfellow deliver in round one of the synchronised diving, placing third.
Creating your own (not quite Olympic) games. Like it.
I'd love to know what sounds you are creating, Paul. I imagine diving to be something along the lines of ptshhhhh

Don't dwell on it too long, Anne.

Leon Taylor says "oooooooohhhhh".
Which means something important has happened.
The German pair have hit the water all wrong, under rotated, and the splash is a big one.
A 74.88 - not great. The Germans are a major rival to the British pair.

"The British pair have been working hard on these twists - it was not quite as good as I've seen in training. But they are still in it.
"The Chinese have a little bit of a lead but that can change quickly. We might see scores close to 100 points and if a pair make a mistake and score as little as 55 or 60 then you can see how changeable that leaderboard can be.
"It is all to play for."

A little looser this time from Tom Daley and Dan Goodfellow for a 49.80 - but it's good enough to keep them third with four more rounds to come.
The difficulty will be ratcheted up now.

Women's 200m individual medley
Hannah Miley came fourth in her 200m individual medley heat with a time of 2.11.08.
"One way to spend your birthday, at a swimming pool. I've deleted my Twitter and Facebook apps on the phone for the duration of this. I still feel a bit torn, but it's nice to push it aside and look ahead. After last night it's hard not to be down. Right now I live in the moment and swim fast. What better way to spend your birthday than to swim in the Olympics? If I get into the semi-finals that would be great."

The Rio crowd boo every time the Brazilian pair's score is shown. Seeing as they're only there through a host nation place, they're not doing too badly - the supporters want straight 10s, of course.
The Chinese duo look good again and land a 57.00 to go top of the board with Daley and Goodfellow to come.
Hayley Curchin: Flicking between the #Diving, external and the #gymnastics, external want to watch both at the same time!
Daisy Upton: Very much enjoying the diving commentary. And the tiny pants.
Farah Says: Just had to decline a phone call from my boyfriend because I'm too engrossed in this diving.
