    Del Potro through to semi-finals

    Juan Martin del Potro was full of tears after a hard-fought victory over Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut. 

    The London 2012 bronze medallist was frustrated by many unforced errors but he battled to a 7-5 7-6 victory to reach the last four.

    GB's Men's team pursuit break world record

    Great Britain are through to the final of the men's team pursuit and break a world record in the process with a phenomenal time of 3:50.570. 

    Sir Bradley Wiggins will race for an eighth Olympic medal and his place in British sporting history.  

    To add to that suspense, it's age old rivals Australia the final obstacle for gold.

    It's half-time at Deodoro, where GB's men must win against Spain to stand any chance of progressing to the quarter-finals.

    David Alegre put the Spanish ahead on nine minutes, but Sam Ward equalised with seconds remaining in the first quarter.

    It could have been better for GB, but Ashley Jackson had a goal ruled out for a deflection.

    Kenny didn't get drawn into any tactical battle, he just waited and waited and went when he was comfortable.
