There's not a seat to be had in the velodrome with lots of people standing around the sides too.
It's very warm inside, the beers have been flowing and the crowd is very excitable.
Not long to go until the men's team pursuit final. No-one wants to miss a history-making ride for Sir Bradley.
Men's team pursuit
Sir Chris Hoy
Six-time Olympic cycling champion on BBC One
I would be very surprised if Bradley has a massive emotional release tonight.
I just see a man very much in control. He has one aim and that is to win this gold medal.
You don't sense he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders.
Wiggins, with four, is behind Sir Steve Redgrave and Hoy in the all-time list of gold medals won by British Olympians. Both Redgrave and Hoy are in the velodrome tonight.
Here's something you don't see everyday in tennis. After hitting the net and letting Japan's Kei Nishikori gain the advantage, France's Gael Monfils deals with it the only way he knows how. Press ups. He's probably been watching the Pakistan cricket team.
Watch how it happened here.
Sir Bradley Wiggins, remember, is chasing his spot in British sporting history. With seven Olympic medals (four gold, one silver, two bronze) he needs one more to better the tally of Sir Chris Hoy (six gold, one silver) to become GB's most successful Olympian of all time.
Mixed doubles
Every time I look at the screen that carries our feed of the tennis, Andy Murray is on it. Two three-set matches in as many days in the singles, both followed by mixed doubles matches. He and Heather Watson are currently on court against Indian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza. It's 2-2 in the first set.
Right then, there are two more bits of business to be taken care of in the velodrome this evening. Denmark meet New Zealand for team pursuit bronze, then Great Britain go for gold against Australia.
Track cycling - Men's sprint
Sir Chris Hoy
Six-time Olympic cycling champion on BBC One
It is hard to explain how fast both of them went.
They're safely through the first round with no problems at all and these are the times when you can often make mistakes but they didn't and they're absolutely perfect so far.
I'm sure Matthew used to row back to the Olympic village...
Women's team sprint
They thought they won it in London only to be disqualified, but China see off Russia in a battle of the superpowers to take gold.
That's the spirit
United States goalkeeper Hope Solo says her side were knocked out by a "bunch of cowards" after losing to Sweden on penalties in the Olympic quarter-final.
It is the first time the defending champions have failed to reach the semi-finals of a major tournament.
"The best team did not win today," said Solo, who has won more than 200 caps.
"I'm very proud of this team," added Solo, 35. "But I also think we played a bunch of cowards. They didn't want to open the game.
"They tried to counter with long balls. I don't think they're going to make it far in the tournament. I think it was very cowardly. They're moving on and we're going home."
Men's team pursuit final (22:42 BST)
This is what the GB quartet did in the first round.
And there's more in the tank...
Ed Clancy, Steven Burke, Owain Doull and Sir Bradley Wiggins go for gold in around half an hour.
Men's sprint
Callum Skinner joins fellow Brit Jason Kenny in the next round. Easy.

This man knows a thing or two about world records and Olympic golds.
Double Olympic 10,000m champion Haile Gebrselassie is sampling track cycling for the first time with his 10-year-old son Nathan.
He told me he was really enjoying it adding: "It's so fast and tactical. I just keep saying "wow" all the time."
Great Britain 1-1 Spain
The clock is against GB at Deodoro.
It remains 1-1 at the end of the third quarter.
Just 15 minutes left for the British men to keep their Olympic dream alive.
Can they do it?
Teddy takes gold +100kg judo
Judo's 100kg gold medal has just been won by heavy favourite Teddy Riner of France. He beat Hisayoshi Harasawa of Japan.
Teddy has now not been beaten for six years!
Don't spill his pint
Sirs Chris Hoy and Steve Redgrave admit that they both still wish they were competing at Olympic Games, not just watching on.
Two mammoth sporting stars. With plenty more to come before bed time tonight.
