    Trampolining

GB's trampolining silver medallist Bryony Page: "I can't believe it. I'm just so happy. I can't believe I have won an Olympic medal, I am speechless.

"I am so happy I got to share the final with Kat (Driscoll), one person would have been history and we got two.

"I had no idea it was a medal but my performance was the best I could have done, that is why I was so happy, that all the training and hard work had paid off."

Thomaz Bellucci whipped the home crowd into such a frenzy early on that it clearly rattled Rafael Nadal, but the 14-time Grand Slam champion came back to win in three sets. And the Spaniard has a doubles gold medal match coming up later today.

Bellucci gets sung from the court by the Rio crowd, some consolation.

I say the next round of the sprint is 21:30, but proceedings in the velodrome are already running a little behind. That also has an effect on Sir Wiggo and the men's pursuit team, whose heats should have been under way about 10 minutes ago.

There will be a collective groan coming from the other competitors because the British team have done this on two previous Olympics, come to form at the right time.

Great Britain haven't really fired yet in this tournament and Spain have.

It's going to be a tough game at Deodoro.

While the cycling is going on, Great Britain's men will be playing Spain knowing that defeat will put them out. Even a win might not be good enough to get out of the group. That match begins at 21:00.

Just like last night, the velodrome is rocking. Heat of a sauna, noise of a nightclub. Riders go round and round the wooden banks. Callum Skinner is still sitting on the fastest time. Jason Kenny is the last man out. Four more men before he's on the track.

Men's sprint qualifying is absolutely critical, it sets the seeding.

It also tells the whole field who is in form.

If you're not entirely sure what's going on in the men's sprint, these qualifying rounds are nothing more subtle than getting yourself around one lap of the track as quickly as possible. Riders have two and a half build-laps, then hurtle around the 250m course in about 10 seconds.
