Puerto Rico have never won an Olympic gold medal. Monica Puig is one set away from history after the Puerto Rican took the first set 6-4 against Angelique Kerberos in the women's singles final.
There are plenty of her compatriots on Centre, though sadly there are almost half the number of spectators here than the near-capacity crowd which watched the Del Potro versus Nadal semi-final.

Cycling's superstar couple Laura Trott and Jason Kenny are engaged to be married but you wouldn't guess that inside the velodrome.
There's hardly a glance or acknowledgement between the two as she warms down with a golden glow after her world record breaking team pursuit while Kenny has to race in a decider against Russian Denis Dmitriev to advance to the sprint finals to face fellow Briton, Callum Skinner.
Men's sprint
Soon the moment of truth for Jason Kenny. Here's how Callum Skinner made it into the final...

He may have had a gold medal around his neck last night but today Sir Bradley has to wear Olympic accreditation to get into the Park.
He's been having a chat with fellow Olympic champion Victoria Pendleton for 5 Live and he describes how his children seemed a little overwhelmed by the occasion in the Velodrome and although they're old enough to understand, he's just a regular dad to them - not the most decorated British Olympian ever! You'll be able to hear the full interview soon.

Juan Martin del Potro kisses the court after reaching the men's singles Olympic final.
What a match it was. Three hours and eight minutes of brilliant, and sometimes, brutal tennis, and it needed a third set tie-break to bring it to an end.
The Brazilians were cheering Spain's Nadal, while the Argentines in the crowd were backing their man Del Potro. A crackling atmosphere. Del Potro, who had not played for two-and-a-half months prior to the Olympics because of injury, goes into the crowd to be mobbed by his compatriots. Lovely.

Puerto Rico's Monica Puig is one set from winning her nation's first ever Olympic gold medal.
She took the first set 6-4 against Germany's Angelique Kerber.
Kerber is currently off court receiving some medical attention.
Great Britain 0-0 United States
Great Britain's women's hockey team are in action in the last of their group games at the moment.
GB won bronze at London 2012, and are guaranteed a quarter-final, having won four from four in Pool B so far.
They're up against the United States at the moment, who also boast a 100% record in Rio.
It's 0-0 at the end of the first quarter at Deodoro.
Men's -9kkg
Great Britain's only male weightlifter at Rio 2016, Sonny Webster, has lifted a combined 333kg in Group B of the men's -94kg category.
He has finished with a lift of 185kg in the clean and jerk, to go with his 148kg in the snatch segment.
Webster ends the group in sixth, so is out of medal contention.
Gold, silver and bronze will be decided when the Group A weightlifters compete at 23:00 BST.
Jason Kenny will go in that decider right after the medal ceremony for the women's keirin. There's also plenty of other action going around Rio at the moment...
While we wait for that decider for Jason Kenny, I have time to give, erm, a brief mention of Match of the Day, which will feature Gary Lineker. In his underwear.

The tactical riding was superb. Callum Skinner double bluffed Matthew Glaetzer and it was fantastically done, such a mature performance.
It has just clicked for him. He was not getting sucked in by Glaetzer and just rode his own race. He will win the final.

Dominic Smith: Yay Callum Skinner. Brill tactics. Amazing #trackcycling Individual sprint

Callum Skinner is into the Olympic final! He beats Matthew Glaetzer 2-0. Skinner is guaranteed at least a silver medal. Now, will it be a British one-two?

Jason Kenny is very much back in the hunt.
It looked close, but he had already built up the speed with a quarter of a lap to go and had the momentum. It was a fast time, but he still can't make any mistakes.
