    -15 Rose, -14 Stenson

Rose can't match it. Approaching the green that sits in front of fluttering flags and pearly marquees, his approach is well short. On the dance floor, but a monster for par.

Rose and Stenson continue to be locked in this duel in the sun and the samba in Rio.

16th fairway, Rose and Stenson both in decent shape to attack the green. My word, it's brilliant from Stenson, an approach to within about five feet. That could bring us back level.

Are you keeping up with all of this? Max Whitlock has just won gold on the floor. He goes on the pommel horse (at which he is world champion) in half an hour. Justin Rose leads the golf, Andy Murray is playing for gold in tennis and one of Jason Kenny or Callum Skinner will take cycling sprint gold.

    Blimey.

The ticket setup in Rio has been a head scratcher. Empty seats galore, people lining up at booths here and there. It's been hard to make sense of what's been sold and what hasn't.

Organisers will tell you high percentages of tickets are sold, space in the arenas tells you otherwise.

These guys are lining up for entry and if they are relatively swift will make the men's tennis final featuring Andy Murray of course.

The mixed doubles final is on featuring Venus Williams among others. USA v USA. The stadium is around 3% full. Come join me. There's plenty of room.

And in from Rose! Left to right, in the side door. He leads on -15. On the 18th, Matt Kuchar doesn't give a birdie putt enough wellie and ends -13. He leads in the clubhouse. It's been a stellar eight-under round from the American

Potentially big moments for Team GB. Justin Rose has hit a wonderful shot into this green.

    Advantage Rose on the 15th.

Right, what's happening on the 15th? Rose soon for birdie, Stenson can only make par at best. Time for a big move?
