Men's pole vault final (00:35 BST)

The first medal of the night comes in the men's pole vault.

Defending champion Lavillenie could maybe even break Bubka's world record of 6.14m. He has cleared 6.16m before - but it was not officially ratified.

    How high is 6.16m?

That's Peter Crouch standing on the shoulders of Lebron James, whilst holding up Michael Phelps.

    Pretty high...

Only a fool goes without the cagoule as they say.

It seems there are many fools as with no shelter in the stadium, most people are outside hiding underneath it.

These Dutch fans tell me they are confident. Asked if they will beat Argentina they reply: "of course".
