    Women's 10km open-water swimming

There are tears and recriminations down at the beach in Rio - France's Aurelie Muller (white hat) has her silver medal taken away after replays show she effectively grappled Italy's Rachele Bruni out of the way in a desperately close finish.

So Bruni moves up to silver behind Van Rouwendaal, and wouldn't you know it? Brazil take bronze with Poliana Okimoto.

"It was a full-on wrestling match by Muller on Bruni," says BBC Sport's Andy Jameson.

Even so, 10 kilometres is a long way to swim for a disqualification.

Nico Cary: What a natural chat between @chrishoy and @MarkCavendish you don't see that everyday! Loved it

JAB: Cavendish and Hoy there more like two mates chatting in the park than an interview. Very relaxed, top stuff.
