Cracking vibe here and it all wraps around a tense atmosphere brought about by how close this is. Great Britain dug in late in that third quarter, I saw Laura Unsworth taking gulps of air. These women are running hard, giving it everything.

A note of caution for GB fans. The NZ men's team were 2-1 up against Germany with 48 seconds to go. They lost. Hockey can quicker than a hiccup.

You look how deep GB are being forced by NZ. 

The Black Sticks are drawing GB side to side. 

You would normally change players every six or seven minutes because of the intensity, take two players out it has an impact on this physicality. 

As this goes on it depends if GB are going to be able to maintain that physicality.

I spotted a fit-again Georgie Twigg at the end of that quarter. Not long ago she was taking a ball to the face, now she's ready to go again. I saw Neymar rolling around earlier just because someone trod on his hand.

There was no need for her to have a swing with her back to goal.

What a miss! New Zealand's Olivia Merry somehow gets the freedom of the GB area, but has a right flap on. Turn, wild swing, wide. Huge chance.

It's like the Alamo out there. Sophie Bray has lost her stick. Crista Cullen, busted open not long ago, is back on the touchline, just a small white plaster on her forehead.
