Athletics expert on BBC Radio 5 LiveThis is the thing about the mixed relay, it's not about the might and talent of individuals, it's about the team. The Polish team have gone back to running the man on the first and last leg, and my the women in the middle gave their guy the best opportunity.
It cerainly gave us the excitenent of the mixed relay in the swimming and triathlon earlier.
Sadly for the Brits they weren't on it from the off. They should have kept Cameron Chalmers in the first leg, it's all about being in the race. Sad, sad disappointment for Britain.
