Travis Burns' kick ricochets off James Laithwaite and St Helens have six more tackles 10 metres out. Jon Wilkin claims a try - is he over?
Warrington prop Roy Asotasi tries a high-risk offload deep in his own half and it doesn't come off, gifting St Helens an attacking set. Gene Ormsby grounds a grubber kick in goal, but Saints will come forward on the attack again. The tension is rising here, with only four points separating the sides as we approach the hour mark.
Tommy Makinson goes oh so close to a try. He leaps highest to claim a high ball and, as he stretches out to ground the ball, he's bundled into touch.

"St Helens' legend Paul Wellens, who is injured at the moment, is helping his team from the sidelines today. Earpiece in, he's working with the coaching staff on the touchline passing on advice when the replacements come on."
Chance wasted as a Warrington pass goes astray near the try line. And then the Wolves give away a penalty to relieve all of the pressure on Saints.
This could be a big moment, as Adam Swift spills the ball in the tackle. Warrington scrum, about 30 metres out.

"That all came from a wild pass really. We know what was intended by Jon Wilkin, but it didn't appear to go there. But the man of the moment, Jordan Turner, picked it up and made good use of it."
That penalty leads to St Helens scoring their first try of the second period. Jordan Turner bursts through the tackle of Ben Westwood and then passes wide to winger Adam Swift, who is absolutely lethal from 10 metres out. Game on again.
Penalty to St Helens as Warrington interfere illegally at the play-the-ball. Saints with a full set just inside the Wolves' half.
St Helens centre Jordan Turner is such an elusive runner. He's just short of the line after an excellent break, and when the ball is switched to the right side, Tommy Makinson can't clutch a low pass.

"Warrington had an open try after just 20 seconds, but they have not only contrived to lose the ball but Saints, thanks to heroic defence in the corner, have actually come up with the ball."
Oh my word, what a start to the second half that nearly was for Warrington.
Richie Myler sprints through a huge gap in the Saints defence and is caught just short of the line. A bit of juggling from about four Wolves players as they try to keep the ball alive, and eventually the chance disappears.
St Helens get us back under way with a kick long into Warrington territory.

"Superb Warrington defence to close out the half in a 40 minutes where they've certainly had the edge with ball in hand.
"Ryan Atkins got his obligatory try at Magic Weekend - the centre has scored in every time it has been played since 2010.
"St Helens' half-backs are yet to really get in the game and have not been the creative force Keiron Cunningham will have wanted."

There's one more game still to be played this Magic Weekend, with Castleford facing bottom-of-the-table Wakefield at 17:30 BST.
The Wildcats have lost their last 12 Super League matches but are set to announce their new head coach half an hour before kick-off.
James Webster left Belle Vue earlier this month following the club's Challenge Cup defeat by Championship side Leigh.
Huddersfield snatched a 22-22 draw with Catalans in Sunday's first match.
Two Jodie Broughton tries put the Giants 16-0 ahead, but 22 unanswered points gave the Dragons what appeared to be a match-winning lead.
However, Jermaine McGillvary dived over in the final seconds and Danny Brough kicked the resulting goal from the touchline to earn a share of the spoils.

"It was a very good half for a neutral spectator or anyone coming to watch rugby league.
"They have seen some good flowing rugby and good tries and some very, very hard tackling.
"I think Warrington are deservedly in the lead. They have been a little bit more inventive and a little more sharper."
It's Warrington who lead at the break.
Stefan Ratchford and Ben Harrison crossed to give the Wolves an early lead, and although St Helens got a try back through Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and levelled with a Tommy Makinson penalty, Ryan Atkins' score and a Chris Bridge kick have given Tony Smith's side an eight-point advantage.
