Ian Henderson makes his return for the Roosters, having moved back to the Bondi Junction club from Catalans Dragons.

The annual World Club Challenge, which pits the champions of England and Australia against each other in a one-off contest, was expanded to become the World Club Series in 2015.

Three Super League clubs take on three teams from Australia's National Rugby League, with the World Club Challenge match providing the climax to the three-day event.

Basically, the best of the best are now joined by the best of the rest for good old Brits v Aussies bragging rights.

St Helens v Sydney Roosters (20:00 GMT)

Tonight, the very two sides that we all have to thank for bringing the best of Britain up against the top dogs down under renew old rivalries.

The year was 1976, Eastern Suburbs Roosters  - two-time NSWRFL Grand Final winners - hosted St Helens, themselves back-to-back champions in England.

Roosters came out on top that day, and again in 2003 when they next met in the cross-competition showdown in Bolton.

Now, these two foundation clubs kick off the World Club Series, which includes there enticing encounters and culminates in Sunday's World Club Challenge between Leeds Rhinos and North Queensland Cowboys.

As an Australian myself, I cannot apologise for any Australianisms that sprout forth, but I do hope you enjoy the action that is to come.
