    FT: Wigan 26-12 Castleford

Castleford coach Daryl Powell told BBC Sport: "Wigan were really good. They started like a house on fire and we didn't handle the physicality of it. We made too many errors and they defended really well throughout the game.

"We're out of the Challenge Cup but we've got to kick on. We've got four games left to get in the Super 8s. We've got to change a few things mentality-wise, and if we do that we've got a chance "

    Well, that's a tasty draw.

Super League leaders Hull FC will face the 19-times Challenge Cup winners Wigan in a repeat of the 2013 final, while this season's surprise package Wakefield will take on Warrington.

"Two cracking ties", says Brian Noble. Hard to disagree.

Both will be televised live on the BBC, and we'll have live text commentaries on the BBC Sport website and app.

Wakefield will be a tough one. They've exceeded expectations and they're playing a great brand of rugby. The players are really responding to Chris Chester.

    FT: Wigan 26-12 Castleford

Wigan full-back Sam Tomkins told BBC Two: "It means a lot to us. A lot of the lads in the team have experienced this before and know exactly how it feels to be at Wembley. Second half, I think we were scrappy. We can work on that."

  8. Reactionpublished at 19:25 British Summer Time 25 June 2016

    FT: Wigan 26-12 Castleford

Wigan head coach Shaun Wane told BBC Two: "It was a good first 40 minutes. In the second half, we went off the boil a little bit. We were good for the win, though."

    Ben Crooks, goal Luke Gale

Brilliant agile work by Joel Monaghan to set up Ben Crooks for Castleford's second try in the corner

But it's too little, too late for the Tigers.

    Wigan 26-6 Castleford

The game may be gone, but credit to Castleford, who are still giving their all in the final minutes to get some more points on the board.

Just some early missed tackles by the Tigers that have been the difference in this one.

It is fair to say that many of you aren't too impressed with that decision for the Dom Manfredi try...

I don't think he touched that whatsoever. How he has given that, I don't know. If the referee isn't sure, why does he have to make a decision?

Wigan surely now into the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup - albeit in slightly controversial circumstances.

A kick through isn't dealt with and Dom Manfredi touches it down, rules the on-field official.

It goes up to the video referee, who says he can't find sufficient evidence to overturn the on-field decision.

It looks a debatable one, but it's given, and Wigan extend their lead again to 20 points.

Oh, almost one of those tries there. Five metres out, Junior Moors almost apologetically stops play, knowing Castleford are going to be penalised for obstruction.

Despite that try from Luke Gale, Castleford still require three converted scores to win this Challenge Cup tie. A big ask.

A sniff of hope for Castleford!

Luke Gale finishes off a well-constructed move underneath the posts and then converts his own try.

About 20 minutes left to make up 16 points in this quarter-final.
