Ouch - Wigan's Ryan Sutton mistimes a tackle and catches a big knock to the head. Unsurprisingly, he's taken off the field for a precautionary check.

The video referee is required again to determine whether Denny Solomona has got over the line for Castleford.

His knee was in touch as he grounded the ball, and the Tigers remain without any points in this Challenge Cup quarter-final.

We've got to keep hold of the ball. We're good enough to break them down, they've been really good with their scrambling. The more we're down there, we'll score some points and make a good crack at it.

We've been the best team. Castleford are a good side and when we played them a few weeks ago, they came back well in the second half. So when we come back out onto the field we're coming back with a 0-0 mentality.

Wigan's clinical finishing has been the difference here.

One try for Dan Sarginson, one for Sam Tomkins, two for Josh Charnley. Wigan in control.

Castleford have had their fair share of territory, but haven't found a way past the Warriors' defence. Much work to do for the Tigers.

    Wigan 22-0 Castleford

Castleford have to score next, ideally before half-time, if they're to have any realistic chance of winning this quarter-final.

It probably took five or six seconds to switch from one corner to the other. Most teams wouldn't be able to defend that, it's that crisp, that swift. It's very, very hard to defend.

  14. try

TRY - Wigan 22-0 Castlefordpublished at 35 mins

    Josh Charnley

Two tries in five minutes for winger Josh Charnley and Wigan are moving into an unassailable lead.

Charnley dives in at the corner and the video referee confirms he grounded the ball.

That's 158 tries in 161 Wigan games for Charnley. Prolific.

The difference at the moment is the try-line defence. Great break, and he's away. It's all about being clinical and Wigan have been very, very clinical so far.

TRY - Wigan 18-0 Castlefordpublished at 29 mins

    Josh Charnley, goal Matty Smith

Wigan have a third try without reply inside 29 minutes.

It's created by a superb initial break by Taulima Tautai, and when the ball breaks to the left wing, Josh Charnley dives over from close range.

Matty Smith nails the kick from the touchline. Any way back for Castleford, who now trail 18-0?

    Wigan 12-0 Castleford

Defensively, Wigan have been awesome so far.

Castleford are trying their best to find a way through - and you would fancy them to at some stage, given the creative talent they have in attack - but as yet they haven't scored any points.

  19. Postpublished at 21 mins

    Wigan 12-0 Castleford

Castleford are almost in down the left side but Denny Solomona is denied by a superb tackle by Sam Tomkins. The video referee makes sure.

The Tigers have a penalty though, as Dom Manfredi is deemed to have made a high tackle on Luke Dorn.
