The two teams are being presented to today's guest of honour, Lizzie Jones, who has done amazing work over the past 18 months to raise awareness of undetected heart conditions.

Her husband, Danny, died in 2015 while playing for Keighley Cougars. Her rendition of Abide With Me before last year's Challenge Cup final was simply stunning.

Presentations done, time for the national anthem.

We're a few minutes away from kick-off at Wembley.

The two sets of players are going through their final preparations in the dressing rooms, and the stadium is about to rise to sing Abide With Me - a special, special moment at any Challenge Cup final.

Leading the annual rendition is a choir made up of 32 rugby league supporters, which has been put together by BBC Sport and Songs of Praise.

On BBC One, they've just shown a montage of memorable moments from previous Challenge Cup finals.

    Spine-tingling.

That Martin Offiah try for Wigan against Leeds in 1994 still amazes me.

One thing to look out for today will be the first points scorer, if there is one, in a Hull FC shirt.

They were 'nilled' here by Wigan on their last visit in 2013, while rivals Hull KR suffered the same fate a year ago against Leeds.

That makes Gareth Raynor's late unconverted try for Hull in their 28-16 defeat by St Helens in 2008 as the last time a player from any East Yorkshire club scored at Wembley.

Gareth Hewer happily admits that refereeing today's Challenge Cup final is the "biggest game of his career".

The 34-year-old is still a part-time official, and combines that with his day job as an engineering team leader at Sellafield.

"I enjoy it and I'll have a great pension at the end of it," said Hewer, who swapped a shift so that he could travel from Cumbria to London yesterday.

"Rugby is my hobby and, if I went full-time, it would be my occupation and you know what happens with occupations when things are not going too well. Sometimes you can get down. I do like the rugby as well but I prefer to keep them separate."

    Brian Noble
    Ex-Great Britain coach, BBC One

Danny Houghton against Daryl Clark is a super match-up at hooker.

Houghton takes the metres at any opportunity he sees. Clark is very, very strong in the hits and his offensive prowess means he's going to run and look to change the game.

As an England coach, I wouldn't want to have to pick the two who would make the set-up.

  9. What the coaches saypublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 27 August 2016

    Hull v Warrington (15:00 BST)

Both coaches have been speaking to BBC One as part of the build-up to today's final...

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford: "For this group of players, it's a new experience for them. It would mean an awful lot to take the Challenge Cup back up to Hull."

Warrington head coach Tony Smith: "It's a privilege and an honour every time we get here. It's nice to be back. It's a special occasion."

Let me break away from the build-up to today's game to bring you some rugby league news that broke this morning.

Three Wakefield players were kept in hospital overnight after they were involved in a road traffic accident yesterday.

Chris Annakin suffered a dislocated hip and team-mate Richard Owen suffered a neck injury when their car hit a tree.

Captain Danny Kirmond was also in the car and received cuts to his arms and legs, according to police.

Wakefield have no fixture this weekend because of the Challenge Cup final and are next in action at Castleford on Friday.

It's a great privilege and an occasion to play in these finals at Wembley.

I felt no nerves when I played in this game as it's just about nailing the game plan and enjoying it.

This is what we're paid to do, we're paid to play rugby league. If you asked me to go out there and sing, then I'd be nervous!

Today's Challenge Cup final is the 10th to be played at the rebuilt Wembley Stadium.

Warrington were victorious there in 2009, 2010 and 2012, and are back at Wembley after losing at the semi-final stage in each of the past three years.

It's unlikely we'll see a repeat of the 50-0 gubbing handed out by Leeds Rhinos to Hull KR 12 months ago.

It was the widest margin of victory in a Challenge Cup final, while Tom Briscoe became the first player to score five tries in a final.

  19. 'Hull's Wembley jinx shouldn't matter'published at 14:23 British Summer Time 27 August 2016

    Hull v Warrington (15:00 BST)

    Jon Wilkin
    St Helens captain, BBC One

St Helens lost five Grand Finals on the spin, so subconsciously every year going to Old Trafford, we felt that at the back of our minds.

But, for Hull today, there's very few people involved who were part of their previous five Wembley defeats.

    It shouldn't matter one jot.

  20. 'One-off day for Hull'published at 14:22 British Summer Time 27 August 2016

    Hull v Warrington (15:00 BST)

    Brian Noble
    Ex-Great Britain coach, BBC One

The people that live in Hull are constantly reminded by Hull KR fans they've never won at Wembley.

It shouldn't matter for them on a one-off occasion. But I'm sure they'll be reminded of it when they get home later if they don't win today.
