If you're keeping an eye on one Brisbane player tonight, make it full-back Darius Boyd.

The Broncos captain has a terrific try-scoring record, including 16 in 21 Tests for Australia.

Anthony Milford forms 50% of one of rugby league's strongest half-back pairings alongside Ben Hunt, who will be joining St George Illawarra Dragons from next season.

Brisbane: Boyd; Oates, Roberts, Kahu, Mead; Milford, Hunt; Ofahengaue, McCullough, Ese’ese, Thaiday, Gillett, McGuire.

    Subs: Glenn, Pangai, Arrow, Fai.

Warrington head coach Tony Smith told BBC Radio 5 live sports extra: "We're more than happy to be part of this, as are the Broncos.

"So many people have come up to me and told me about a game their team played against a touring Australian team and it doesn't happen that often any more. We're honoured to be a part of it."

Warrington make one change to the line-up which lost at Catalans in their Super League opener, with Kevin Brown making his Wolves debut after joining from Widnes.

Centre Toby King misses out with a hamstring injury, prompting Tony Smith to reshuffle his backs, with Kurt Gidley moved to full-back.

Warrington: Gidley; Russell, Evans, Atkins, Lineham; Brown, Patton; Cooper, Clark, Sims, Hughes, Savelio, Westerman.

    Subs: Westwood, Livett, Philbin, Dwyer.

Tonight's game may well provide fans with a tasty starter, but the main course will be served up on Sunday afternoon, when Wigan take on Cronulla Sharks at the DW Stadium.

This year, there's real belief that the Aussie side can be beaten, with Cronulla winning the title for the first time last season, and having had some unusual pre-game preparations, including sightseeing trips around London and Paris.

We'll be back with live text and radio coverage of that game, which kicks off at 15:00 GMT tomorrow.

I love this - it's a superb occasion. The Broncos are an outstanding outfit and the Wolves are as good as anything on their day. National pride is at stake, so I'm looking forward to it.

Warrington Wolves v Brisbane Broncos (20:00 GMT)

Brisbane are coached by Wayne Bennett, who is well known around these parts of course.

It wasn't the most successful first year in charge for Bennett as England coach, and he hasn't had the greatest of relationships with some Super League bosses, but that's something he's willing to accept his share of responsibility for...

It's been five years since an English team beat an Australian side, with Leeds beating Manly Sea Eagles to lift the World Club Challenge trophy in 2012.

NRL sides have won all six games since the Challenge was expanded to a three-game series in 2015, and there are fears that another Australian whitewash could spell the end for the competition.

Those fears became all the more real when Melbourne opted against taking the trip to England.

While a change of venue to either Australia or North America seems more likely in the short term, there's certainly a lot of pressure on Warrington and Wigan to end Super League's losing streak.

In an ideal world, I'd be welcoming you to the first of three World Series live text commentaries.

Sadly this year, only two games have been scheduled, with NRL runners-up Melbourne turning down their invitation to take part.

Hopefully it's a case of quality over quantity in 2017, as Super League runners-up Warrington Wolves get this year's series started against Brisbane Broncos.
