It was great pass selection. Greg Eden pulled the full-back towards him and popped it up for the man who started the move.

That was a magnificent try by Castleford Tigers.

A good move by Daryl Powell, who's brought Adam Milner back on to the field - he's Mr Enthusiasm.

Against the run of play, what a lift for Castleford.

Greg Eden offloads to Luke Gale who touches down to get the hosts right back into this game and back in the lead.

He converts his own try and it's a four-point game once more. What a return.

Ouch. Saints full-back Ben Barba is under their posts looking to catch a high ball and Zak Hardaker comes charging in with a powerful tackle.

Barba gets up, somehow. I'd still be on the ground for a long while after that...

The pressure mounts and mounts and mounts from St Helens. They're asking questions of the Castleford defence and forcing them into last-ditch tackles.

Saints' belief and confidence levels are through the roof, and you sense that with Castleford there are seeds of doubt.

Jonny Lomax kicks into the in-goal area for Saints to chase and Zak Hardaker kicks it away at the very last moment.

A split-second decision from the Castleford man, but how long will it quell the danger from the visitors?

Wow, this is tense stuff. Mark Percival comes within about an inch of stretching his arm out to ground the ball over the line.

Cas survive by the skin of their teeth but there's no denying Saints are on top since half-time.

St Helens are one of only two teams to beat Castleford at the Jungle in the league this season and the visitors will be hoping to repeat that achievement once more this evening.

The message from Castleford's social media team to their supporters is clear...

The Tigers will start the second half two points behind against a St Helens team that grew into the first period and snatched the lead before half-time.

Should be an entertaining 40 minutes in store.

It's been really exciting. There have been errors but that's down to the pressure and good defence from both teams.

Saints have dominated possession on the back of a 5-1 penalty count.

If you're going to beat Castleford, you're going to need more than 50% of the ball and I'd suggest Saints have had more than 50% of the ball.

The half-time hooter sounds and Saints are ahead by two points going into the break.

What a first half, from Zak Hardaker's dramatic first-minute try to Morgan Knowles' score putting the visitors on top.

Who's on their way to Old Trafford? Saints are halfway there.

A really quality try. James Roby was fantastic, and the line and timing of the run from Morgan Knowles was fantastic.

Now we've got a game on our hands.

Morgan Knowles picks up a reverse pass from James Roby and shocks the home faithful into stunned silence as he dives in under the posts unopposed.

Mark Percival has an easy kick at goal and knocks it over with ease to add the extras.

Luke Gale's grubber kick sails into Saints' goal area and forces Tommy Makinson to concede a drop out.

St Helens deal with the threat that follows, however, as Zak Hardaker loses possession soon after.

It's a great game. This is what a semi-final should be like. You should have to work really hard to win one.

Some sloppy play from St Helens as they make a bit of a mess of an attack and knock on.

    Poor attacking from the visitors.

At the other end, Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook grounds the ball and he celebrates almost immediately.

Referee James Child says no try but refers it to Phil Bentham in the video booth who agrees.

Saints are still looking to challenge that four-point deficit.

Quick as a flash, Cas have it up the other end and Greg Minikin offloads to Jake Webster who's got acres of space but he fumbles.

    It's all happening, now!

Saints have been decent on the counter tonight and they've dominated the possession since Castleford's two sets of video referrals.

The visitors are aiming to keep the pressure on and they're succeeding so far.
