Stargroth Amean and Kevin Brown collide... accidental. However, then Watson Boas comes in with a cheap shot and that's what kicked-off the brooha.

England penalty surely? No, play-on apparently.

That's five errors in 23 minutes from Wayne Bennett's team after Chris Hill dropped the ball and normally seven is the most you wanna get in the game, so we've got some work for England from this point on

    England 8-0 Papua New Guinea

Poached by Luke Gale...has he got the legs to go all the way?.....no, he's tackled. Then Kevin Brown is given an absolute wallop by a PNG man and it's all kicking off!

    Fuse, lit.

    England 8-0 Papua New Guinea

If Papua New Guinea thought James Graham and Chris Hill were big. Now they've got to deal with Alex Walmsley and Thomas Burgess.

Meanwhile Sean O'Loughlin pinged and PNG are having a dig from a penalty...

    England 8-0 Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea turn the ball over on the England 20 last tackle.

Kato Ottio took the ball in but had no room to move.

Oh, then Chris Hill spills in contact and the ball goes Papua New Guinea's way again.

    Bit sloppy. Sharpen up lads.

Rueful look from David Mead on the bench. Looks like his morning/afternoon is over.

Here's a clue, go to the right side.

McGillvary and Kallum Watkins are pretty much in sync. This is a one-on-one for Watkins and McGillvary just had to finish it. It's easier said than done but that's the money ball.

    England try

Stunning offload by Kallum Watkins out of the tackle gives Jermaine McGillvary the run in for a second and England are hammering that right edge.

Great, brave hands at the line sucks in the PNG defence and McGillvary profits.

Gareth Widdop misses from the tee again. Is that going to be key?

Nice metres made by Sam Burgess, then Chris Hill. England motoring into the red zone...

I reckon PNG are having a crack at centre John Bateman's side of the field so that will be a challenge for him as the game goes on.

    England 4-0 Papua New Guinea

PNG certainly not bogged down in one-out rugby. They're stretching England all over.

Luke Page is the ramrod they're trying to break England down with but another grubber is mopped up on the last.

England a good 90 metres from the PNG line start of the set but then Moses Meninga gets too excited, shoots the line and gives away ANOTHER penalty.

    Five penalties in a row...

    England 4-0 Papua New Guinea

    Ian Millward
Former St Helens coach on BBC Two

All the technique you'd wanna see and the other thing is everyone knows their role.

Sometimes a player steps up in international rugby - and Jermaine McGillvary has done that. The way he squares up has let him come to this arena and play the way he wants to.

That was good skill and reward was a try.

England get a penalty off the corresponding set from the restart. They're really bludgeoning PNG at the ruck.

    Satisfactory start.

    Jermaine McGillvary

    England try

Super, super try by England. Making use of the field position with a sliding move to the right. 10 tries in 10 games for Jerry too.

The Huddersfield winger is a brilliant finisher. Credit to Kevin Brown in the build-up, he's relishing the faith that Wayne Bennett has placed in him. Gareth Widdop too.
