    Danny Brough

If it wasn't over before, it is surely over now.

Danny Brough shaped for it a couple of times but it wasn't quite there so he waited until the tackle count was out and he was bang in front to slot the one and give Wakefield that extra buffer.

London are on their way to the Championship.

  2. Nasty fall for Jones-Bishoppublished at 21:22 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

    Wakefield 18-0 London

Another delay at Belle Vue and thankfully Ben Jones-Bishop is okay after falling nastily on his back and head. He's okay to continue and the London players disperse from the huddle they formed near their own posts.

"15 minutes to score at least three tries lads or we're down." I can lip read.

    Salford 10-16 Hull KR

Another two-pointer for Hull KR's Ryan Shaw and they're now six points up on Salford.

  4. London going for itpublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

    Wakefield 18-0 London

London have 20 minutes to save their Super League status, and boy are they trying - maybe too hard. They're throwing everything at Wakefield's watertight defence but letting themselves down with the final pass.

It's going to take something really, really special now.

There's 21 minutes left - London need to score now. There's plenty of time for three scores, but Wakefield have been defending pretty well. London need to find some offloaders.

    Tries elsewhere...

Huddersfield are back within eight points of Catalans, Louis Senior completing his hat-trick.

Mark Percival's score may have ended Hull FC's play-off hopes for good. St Helens lead 18-6, and Castleford are set for a fifth-place finish.

And Rob Lui's try has extended Leeds' advantage over Warrington to 14-0.

    Reece Lyne

Surely that's game over? And by that, I mean London's time in Super League.

A perfect, delicate kick from the outside of Danny Brough's left boot dabs the ball behind for Reece Lyne to run in and simply touch down. Wakefield are almost home and hosed.

Brough cannot add the extras for once in his life, though.

When that try was scored, Wakefield coach Chris Chester celebrated like a fan on the terraces! He knows they're nearly there.

    Salford 10-14 Hull KR

Hull KR are back in front at Salford! Kane Linnett restores Rovers' lead, and Ryan Shaw adds the extras for a four-point cushion.

And now there's more news from Wakefield...

    Wakefield 14-0 London

Ryan Morgan made a fantastic break for London taking them within striking distance of the line. They stay calm, kick low to the corner for Kieran Dixon who for the second time tonight knocks on when trying to ground the ball.

The Broncos have had their chances, they really have.

  10. Finest of marginspublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

    Wakefield 14-0 London

Matty Fozard has missed a 40-20 by about an inch for London that would've put them in a brilliant position to hit straight back.

Sometimes it feels like it might not be your night...

A sigh of relief for Huddersfield and Hull KR fans, with that second Ryan Hampshire try for Wakefield sending London closer to the drop.

    While that was happening...

Arthur Mourgue went over for Catalans, who now lead Huddersfield 20-10.

Krisnan Inu's penalty goal put Salford 10-8 ahead against Hull KR.

  12. try

TRY: Wakefield 14-0 Londonpublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

    Ryan Hampshire, Danny Brough goal

Could that be the try that keeps Wakefield up and sends London down to the Championship?

A brilliant floated pass from Jacob Miller cuts out the London defence and puts Ryan Hampshire in on the left wing for his second try of the night. That was exquisite play.

Danny Brough adds the extras and it's a long way back for the Broncos now.

  13. Salford score against Hull KRpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

    Salford 8-8 Hull KR

A Salford try that could have ramifications at both ends of Super League. Tui Lolohea's kick is deflected back into his hands off a Hull KR player and he crosses for the Red Devils.

But then Krisnan Inu misses an easy kick! It's level now - which would be enough to keep Hull KR up and secure third spot for Salford.

  14. Injury delay at Wakefieldpublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

    Wakefield 8-0 London

Wakefield's Jacob Miller has just been in the middle of an ugly looking London sandwich, and that is absolutely no disrespect to the two Broncos players involved - who will remain nameless just in case.

He was knocked sideways and is getting some medical attention, a minute into this second half.

In around 40 minutes then, we'll know who has been relegated from Super League. At the moment London are heading for the Championship.

We'll also know if it's Castleford or Hull FC to take the final play-off spot. Happier worries for them.

    Kevin Brown
Warrington Wolves half-back on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

We feared for them a bit when Danny McGuire went to the sin-bin and Jake Bibby went over, but Salford gave away a couple of penalties.

As Salford were walking off, you could see their frustration boiling over. Tony Smith went over to the Hull KR lads and they looked buoyant.

So, as we know, London are on course for the drop as it stands.

Warrington will finish third ahead of Salford if scores stay the same, as both are trailing at the break.

And, with Hull FC behind against St Helens, Castleford will take the fifth and final play-off spot unless the Black and Whites mount a comeback against the league leaders.

It's been a tense, nervous affair.

London have bombed two chances for points and they may rue those later. That's my question for them - where will they get their points from?

It's such an end-to-end, nervous affair.

As things stand, London are heading for the Championship.

Danny Brough's penalty and a try from Ryan Hampshire with the Brough extras is what separates the teams. Wakefield have made fewer errors and had a simple gameplan of completing sets and kicking for pressure.

London have been under the cosh, but when they've got the ball in hand if anything have looked the more dangerous team.

A heck of a long way to go in this one.

  20. DISALLOWED TRYpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 13 September 2019

    Wakefield 8-0 London

Last attack of the half for London and Ryan Morgan thought he'd got his side right back in it after a brilliant quick pass to the corner from Alex Walker - but it was forward.

That chance came because Wakefield's Kyle Wood was penalised for holding on in the tackle and it gave London great field position. He's a lucky boy.
